Park Reception Part 2

Markki moved back, looked at Jay and took his hand out. Jay took Markki's hand for a shake but they were gripping hard on each other. Jessica pulled apart the boys hands from each other, gave an excused smile to Markki and dragged Jay with her. Once, they were far away from the loud sound and crowd.

Jessica asked "So, how was the competition?"

Jay answered "The competition was good."

Jay pulled out a medal for second place from his pocket. When Jessica saw the medal, she immediately hugged him. After the hug, Jessica apologized for the sudden hug and Jay waved his hand that it was alright. Their time together was short lived when Jay's male cousins called him; so Jay and Jessica parted.

As Jessica went back to the crowd, she saw a girl around the age of 6 trying get a plate from the table but knocked down a wine glass. Immediately, a waitress scolded the young girl, as the little girl picked up the pieces; Jessica went up to the scolding scene.

Jessica said out right "Excuse me, Miss. You have no right to scold the girl."

Waitress answered back "What? Who are you? This brat's mother!?!"

A crowd gathered, surrounding the scene. Somehow, no one wanted to stop the scene, everyone just wondered at what would Jessica do. As for Jessica ignored the waiter and bent down to come face-to-face with the girl.

Jessica said to the crying little girl "Come on, you don't have to do that. What's your name?"

Girl answered "-sniff- Mika. -sniff-"

Jessica consoled her by telling the girl it was fine. The waitress couldn't take being ignored, so when Jessica got up; the waitress slapped Jessica. Jessica stood her ground, not crying but just a calm expression.

Jessica requested "Miss, I would like an apology."

Waitress scoffed "Yeah, right. For you? No way."

Jessica said again "I want an apology for the little girl."

The waitress was furious from request, she turned her ring to the palm side and ready to slap Jessica again. But the waitress slap didn't land on Jessica but Jay, who ran up infront of Jessica's defense. Jessica saw the cut on Jay's face, Jessica reacted by going to Jay and placing a cloth over his cut. Jessica told the little girl to stand by Jay because the little girl was in the middle of all the chaos. Jessica stepped up to the waitress and looked at the defying waitress in the eye. The waitress eyeing back at Jessica felt the rage in Jessica's calm expression and cowardly stepped back. The waitress scanned the crowd and caught a pair of eyes, her manager, she immediately apologized and picked up the broken pieces of a wine glass.

The crowd went away, except of Mrs. Park, who went to her son but Jay went to Jessica.

Jay asked "Jessica, are you okay?"

Jessica answered "I should be asking that. Come on, sit here."

Jay sat at the available seat, as Jessica was to pull out a small first aid kit.

Jay exclaimed "You have a first aid kit in there?!"

Jessica replied "Of course, you might never know like now."

Jessica applied a small amount of ointment on Jay's cut, of course, Jay winced at the sting of the ointment on his open cut. Then, placed a band-aid on lightly.

Mika, who was at the side, went up to Jessica and pulled on her skirt, still crying. Jessica wiped her hand on a wet wipe, took a strawberry, sliced here and there. Jessica showed Mika the strawberry, who stopped and looked at the strawberry. Mika totally admired by the newly cut strawberry shaped as a rose. 

 Jay picked Mika up and placed Mika on his lap. Together, Jay and Jessica played with Mika. Not too far, Mrs. Park observed the couple with Mika, nodded in satisfaction and Mr. Park came up next to her.

Mr. Park said "I'm guessing you are satisfied and awed by Jessica. Am I right?"

Mrs. Park replied "Your right. She's good, it's like Jessica is  his angel, you know. Sometimes, I think that she's too perfect for him."

Mr. Park said jokingly "Wah!! She really changed you, to think like that."

Mrs. Park looked at her husband and shook her head at him. Mr. Park took his hand out and Mrs. took his hand, where Mr. Park led her to the dance floor.

But unknown to all of the happiness is going on, one man eyed on Jessica like a hawk. The man is up in his room able to see all the scene of wedding reception but all the man did was look at Jessica and her every movement.
