Foreword
These guys, do they have anyone to speak for them? Or is it even my place to speak? What do you do when you find yourself in a world that has always been labeled as less than, where is a currency, addiction is a coping mechanism, violence is the answer, seduction is a true art form, conning is the norm, placing bets on lives is entertainment, self-hatred is abundant, trusting someone is like skating on thin ice, and the people you meet are individually complex and simultaneously unpredictable, terrifying, and intriguing? What do you do when you get unexpectedly attached to each character you meet, even though attachment is what broke you the first time?
A smoke-all con who is much more than he seems.
A struggling street performer who lost everything.
An adrenaline adict who doesn't seem to care anymore.
A street fighter who takes bets and seeks revenge.
I am Lee Jinki. This is about how everything changed when I found myself in the most unexpected place. This story may be graphic and maybe too honest. But hey, that's the Street.
