Hi, my name is Kim Taeyeon. I'm 14 years old, and I'm dying. That's right. I have an extremely rare heart disease that can't be cured. The doctor says I'm very lucky that I've already lived for 14 years. I don't feel lucky. You see, I'm kind of nerdy and therefore, unpopular. Seriously, I even have those classic think, black-rimmed glasses. I'm also bullied very often. No one knows about my disease except me and my family. I don't need anyone's sympathy. It'll probably be fake anyway. If it weren't for my best friends, Hwang Tiffany, Lee Sunny, Kwon Yuri, and Jung jessica, I wouldn't know what to do. They're constantly protecting me, even though they have no clue whatsoever about my disease. I think that if it weren't for me, they would be mega popular. They're gorgeous, rich, and kind, but here at Seoul High School, we're stuck with s as the most popular girls. These s are also my enemies, my bullies. There's Park Sandara and her boyfriend Kim Jonghyun, Gong Minzy and her boyfriend Lee Onew, and Park Bom and her boyfriend Choi Minho. Personally, I think the boys aren't that bad. They only follow their girlfriends' orders because they crave popularity. That's too bad.
