Life On The Line

Description

They were like every typical married couple. They fought, they argued over insignificant things, like her addiction for shopping and his addiction for video games, and they loved each other.

But their relationship was special. They went beyond a married couple, they were also business partners as well… Though it might not be type of business one would usually think of.

To describe their business in detail would be complicated, but simply they were… killers. They worked under a man whom they had never met and whose name they did not know and the only communication they had with said man was through a folder that was given by the underboss almost weekly to their household, containing details and information about the ones they would have to exterminate.

In their business, there was only one clearly implied rule and it was simple.

Follow the boss’s orders or get your own dose of medicine back.

Other than that, there was nothing. They could use any tactic, force, strategy, anything to get their job done as long as their target was taken care of, not that this couple would ever break the rule.

Had it not been for the boss, their lives would be radically different. Both were taken in by an underboss in the group at different times, promising to clear their debts and promising to give them a chance to live a new and more extraordinary life.

Had it not been for the boss, they would have never met. During a special mission overseas in Japan in the summer of 2009, Taeyeon and Chanhee had been forced to work together to kill a group of 50 men. It was a mission that many thought would be impossible, considering the fact that it would be carried out in an unfamiliar place with an unfamiliar language, yet both came out extremely victorious and had been working together since as a single unit, prepared to kill larger groups of people.

It was rare that their missions were any different. They would usually have a week from the moment they received the folder to prep and carry out their mission effectively and that rarely ever changed as well. Yet the one they would receive would mark a very special one that would be engraved in their minds forever.

Foreword

This fanfic was originally a para I've written with a close friend of mine. I'm only posting this because it got so much good reviews and comments. I also wanted to show my readers this (If I still have any readers that is) story. We worked hard on this para and we hope you do too.

Rated M due to the following:
- Excessive Vulgar
- Excessive Violence
