Gulping down the nervousness in her throat, she followed the 'tour guide' to help herself familiar with the building after she snapped out of her thoughts for a second. "This is your documents, read through it and you'll get to understand us more, new trainees will recieve stuffs like this, in case they're still confused with our prosedure throughout trainings, hope you'll survive safely!" she gave Jooeun a reassuring smile before leaving her in the meeting room. "Hmm" she puffed her cheeks and start to open the file.

'Both' she chuckled '그래 (that's right) both'. United Korea Media is no joke. Being accepted as a trainee there is as if a present from god. Everybody know United Korea Media is the biggest company in South Korea's entertanment industry. Be it a joint venture of Korea's "Big Three" record companies (JYP, SM and YG). Everyone knows. However, one cannot just drool and then bam gets accepted into United Korea Media. WORK HARD. Yes, that's the right word. You need to work really hard. Some may think that it was luck that get those trainees into United Korea Media but really, no, they don't know anything. And how does Jooeun know? Because she had went through them. She remembered the late night practices, the constant faints, the long vocal trainings that almost got her into surgery. But it finally paid off. The efforts. 

Flipping on to the next page, she was greeted by the company's rules and regulations for the first five years. That's right, you have to wait five years+ to debut

1. Weight and looks will be taken seriously however, plastic surgery is never an option
2. Throughoutthe five years, trainees must be able to sing and dance 
3.  Professional in English is a must
4. One must excel in both studies and trainings
5. Failure to excel in studies may result an expel from United Korea Media
6. Failure to excel in trainings may result to late debut

She stared at the lifeless thing.

I'm sure you guys are still confuse with the United Korea Media thingy right? So it is like this: if someone wants to get to United Korea Media, he or she should audition at SM, JYP or YG. They will filter out the people that attend the audition according to their own terms and conditions and let the remaining left as their trainees. Therefore for the first three months as trainees, this three company will keep an eye on every trainee to send them off to United Korea Media. After the first three months end, selections will be made. Selected trainees from the three companies will unite at United Korea Media and the remaining will be trainees at their respective company that they auditioned for and continue their training until they debut. As for the trainees at United Korea Media, they will have to be trained for 5 years before they can debut, some will have their training years extend because well, the company's will. Remember the slogan 'We prepare entertainment for a better future' ? it means that no matter how hard training is, you must not skip school, ranking in school must be high. Yeah, they want their artists to have brains too not just talent. That is why United Korea Media is known as the most prestigious label company ever. Just who can balance out their practices with school stuffs? Most of the companies' trainees in Korea would probably leave school to pursue their dream as an entertainer but that is a big no to United Korea Media. It has both good side and bad side. The good side is that you won't be stupid and you have a back up plan if you quit becoming an idol and the bad side is stress.
