The Blind Eyes

Description

Lee Ji Eun, better known as IU, was blind ever since she was born. She lived in a world of darkness and fear. IU's parents passed away long ago when IU was born. Her father was on a business trip, but died when the ship sunk. Her mother was giving birth to IU, but died because of her weak body. Without being able to see, she was afraid and very cautious of her surroundings. She is easily discouraged, which makes her think that being blind and alive is hopeless. Many people pity her, which is why IU avoids people. That all changes when a new boy transfers to her school, and that boy is no other than Jang Wooyoung.

Wooyoung always had the 'bad boy' title in every school. He was a very dense boy, and still is today. He never did his homework, failed on every test he took, and ditched school frequently. He only went to school because his mother forced him to. He never cared about the world or anyone until IU came along in his life. His kindness and gentleness towards IU makes her feel calm and eased. It doesn't sound like he's trying to pity her at all–it sounds more like he was trying to become friends with her instead.

Will Wooyoung be able to bring the light to IU's dark world? Or will IU fear the darkness forever in her life?

Foreword

@WooUshii07: It's been a while since I've written this story, but I'm pretty sure that IU went to the same school was Wooyoung. In my opinion, I don't see the problem for a blind student going to a public school. I know a student at my school who's blind and she manages to be fine on her own. :) And thank you for reading this twice! ^_^
