Tessa Hae believed her life in Barrie, Ontario was perfect. She had normal dreams and was a regular 18-year-old girl. She was also the most popular girl in school, full of money and could get any kind of boy she wanted without looking for him. Everything was lost when she was transferred to a boarding school in Korea. What will be when she takes things too far? Until she met Kim Jonghyun, everything fit into a semi-normal routine.

After a party where she lost control, her parents whisked her off to boarding school, an appropriate and prim Korean school, Konbu Boarding School. The students are all sophisticated and behaved teenagers, with the exception of a certain crowd.

Kim Jonghyun seemed like a normal human, someone Tessa had always dreamed of. He is loving, caring and sweet, but she is able to see through his deceiving appearance, after all, he does attend a school of post-misfits. Jonghyun has an addiction which could ruin him of everything. As much as he loves Tessa, he doesn’t understand that this will distance him of everything he holds dear, including her.
