A Mermaid's Tears
Description
Humans and Mermaids- they are two totally different kinds of creatures.
It was said that way back in the ancient times, when no humans existed,
There were two groups of apes- stuck on an island,
And they had to search for food in order to survive.
One group stayed on the land to find food to eat,
The other group went in the water,
And that, was how they said mermaids existed- because the apes eventually stayed and evolved in the water as they adapted to it.
But is it possible for a human to fall in love with a mermaid, and a mermaid to fall in love with a human?
It's left to fate to decide,
It's either the mermaid has to turn to foam;
Or the human has to get killed by the mermaid for her to obtain his blood.
But what if they can't bear to sacrifice each other for love?

-This fic will be based off Baby Don't Cry, I got inspired to write this fic after reading the background story of the song, and also the lyrics.
