“ Ah! ”

Papers flew from the girl’s hands to the ground. Bending down , the girl stretched out her hands , picking up what she had dropped.

“ Here , let me help.” A masculine voice said , sounding rather polite.

The girl looked up and smiled , standing before her was a handsome young boy , who was probably older than her by a couple of years.

“ Thanks.” She smiled.

The boy bent down and picked up the remaining few.

“ Here you go.” He smiled , handing the papers over.

“ Hebe ! Get over here right now !” A shrill voiced screamed.

“ Thanks , I’d get going now.” The girl called Hebe smiled a little before turning away.

“ So...her name’s Hebe eh ? Hot chick.” The guy grinned to himself.

“ What on earth were you doing just now ?! Do you know how expensive this cup is ?!” A short stubby man shouted , pointing at the broken cup on the floor.

“ Sorry.” The girl muttered.

“ SORRY ?! SORRY ?! DO YOU THINK A SORRY CAN HELP ?! I SPENT A FEW HUNDRED DOLLARS ON THIS SET OF TEACUPS AND YOU BREAK THEM AND THINK YOU CAN ESCAPE WITH A SORRY ?!!!” The man hollered , louder than the first time.

“ Sorry.” She repeated again , tears threatening to fall out from her chocalate brown orbs.

“ SORRY ?? SORRY ?? WHAT ARE YOU ?! A PARROT ?! I DIDN’T KNOW I HIRED A PARROT ! GET LOST ! YOU’RE FIRED !

Tears streamed down her cheeks.

A customer from nearby went up , seeing the situation.

“ Sir , no matter what she did , she does not deserve this kind of scolding from you.” He said , in a serious tone and grabbing the girl’s hands , he walked out of the small café together with her.

“ Hebe ! Don’t take to heart what Joe said today ok ? You’re forever the prettiest to me ! “

“ Thanks Ah bu. I won’t take it to heart !” Hebe smiled.

“ Really ? Are you sure you’re ok ? Cause if you aren’t you can call me anytime ! I’ll always be there for you !” " Ah bu " smiled slightly.

“ I’m okay….don’t be so naggy ! You’re just like my mother ! No , wait….WORSE than my mother. But thanks anyways , my dearest ah bu ! I love you ! “ Hebe joked and hugged him , not noticing the slight blush growing on his face.

“Who will she pick ? “

“ I don’t know…I’m really scared she picks the wrong guy and what if he hurts her again , just like how Jay did ?”

“ Hebe Tien , I love you ! Will you be my girlfriend ?”

“ Hebe….I’ve loved you for a long time now….you may have always seen me as a friend but I’ve always liked you…can you give me a chance please ? “
