Kaleidoscope

Description

This story is inpired by one of the recent episode of Avatar: The legend of Korra. I am excited to start this story! Please give lots of love and do promote for me too!!

Foreword

Darkness and light can never exist without the other. Likewise in the SJ Kingdom, the dark queen has been fighting the light master for the past 10000 years for dominance. The dark queen, named Ryeowook is the master of all evil while the light master, named Kyuhyun is the leader of all good. Kyuhyun has been keeping Ryeowook in good control by trapping her in a tower. He cannot fully destroy Ryeowook since he would die if she died too. Ryeowook swears to kill Kyuhyun if she were to escape one day even if it were to be the end of her too. As the leader of the nation, Kyuhyun has strangely refused to marry any lady. Instead, he spend every night sitting under the tower that is trapping the dark queen, playing the flute for her as lullaby.

Will such a relationship ever blossom?

I just reread this story last night and I remember back when you were still writing it and how I would actually wake up in the mornings and check AFF before doing almost anything else to see if you'd updated this story, because sometimes there would be a new chapter, and it would make my entire day. I don't really have many stories that I follow anymore and certainly none that I get THAT excited about, so it's nice to be able to come back to a story like this and read it again. I've always felt that this story is very well written, with good and evil being fatefully bound to each other, the kaleidoscope as symbolic of their love, and just how well paced the plot seemed to be for a short story. Furthermore, it reads like a fairy tale, and I absolutely love fairy tales. I don't think people will ever tire of reading them. They're very magical. I hope you write more like this someday.

Chapter 15: The story was so entertaining. KyuWook is so sweet and cute together. I think this is the first KyuWook fic I read where Wookie is the one on the dark side. But I guess since this is a gender bender it would be easier to picture Wookie as the dark queen instead of Kyu LOL

Chapter 15: I love this!!♡♡♡ I don't really like genderbender, but when I read that this story got inspiration from korra.....woah "Well, i think read this wont hurt me" I really love the light and dark spirit aw aw aw!! Now, I think I can't see light and dark spirit the same again if I rewatch korra :') btw, I don't get the kaleidoscope part, because I just don't know(?)

Chapter 15: I read this quite some time ago, so when I stumbled across it again, of course I had to reread it!
And I fell in love with the story all over again...

I had to reread this story again, after such a long time. I still remember waking up and checking for updates every morning back when you were still writing this. I was always so excited when there was a new one to read. Still a good story because I absolutely love myths and legends. Creating a KyuWook story into a legend about immortals is such a fun and unique twist. No one has written anything quite as interesting in the alternate universe category since. Once again, thanks for writing this.
