This is my first fanfiction. It is a SHINee one-shot because I love them. It is a disability!AU but despite that it's really sweet and I hope you like it. :)

Foreword

Over the years we became very close. We learned Morse code and he taught me how to read Braille. We visited each others’ families on holidays, we graduated middle school together and after a while, he could even sense when I was around. We weren’t the most popular pair but because we had each other, we had the luxury of not caring what other people thought of us. We were like brothers, and for five years, it was just the two of us.

We met him on the first day of eleventh grade.

This is adorable. And I love the luxury you mention there. It really is one to not care what other people think, and their relationship is one that very much so supports this. Very cute. :)

Chapter 1: Wow this was really amazing. I'm glad they were all kind of happy in the end and Jonghyuns and Jinkis relationship was just so lovely. Thank you for sharing this <3

I was a little weary of the disability AU theme at first, not wanting to end up depressed for the characters, but just as your foreword promised, this one-shot was very sweet. I am a hardcore Jongyu shipper, and this is how I found your story by chance, but what I liked most is how none of your disabled characters felt crippled or incomplete. How they were whole people still, and how they found ways around the challenges of their lives instead of resenting life or the world or whatnot. It was touching in a way that did not feel crafted only for the purpose of making everyone cry. Now off to check out your other stories!
