"Jessica? Honey? Come on," Mrs. Jung urged the four year old girl, holding her hand out for Jessica to take.  The little girl gave a giggle and interlocked her tiny fingers with her mother as they walked through the supermarket.

That was when Jessica's brain had functioned and grown properly.

"Come on, Jessica," Mr. Jung grumbled, seeing his daughter tumbling over nothing on the stage as she did a school play. Jessica was seven at the time yet still acted as if she were four.

Then doctors found out about her condition.

"Her brain is still at the age of four," the doctor explained, looking through his clip board. Mr. and Mrs. Jung widened their eyes.

"What? But she is already seven," Mr. Jung stated.

Doctor Choi gave a nod, "Which is why we are also confused. It seemed as if her brain growth froze,"

"Will she have the brain of a four year old forever?" Mrs. Jung asked in worry, glancing over at her daughter that was fiddling with her fingers in the large chair.

"We're trying to figure that out. It's something we've never seen before,"

"Do you think it's fatal?" Mr. Jung immediately asked the question, worried.

"No, no. It's not fatal from what we see," the doctor denied before handing a card out to the two parents, "Mr. Kwon is someone you might want to see for Jessica, he's a physiatrist who handles brain related cases,"

The Jungs went home and the thought of calling Mr. Kwon slipped their minds. They figured that since they were Jessica's parents, they could teach her what she needed.

But, after several years of struggling, they made no progress. They finally called Mr. Kwon. Jessica was to move in with him and his family.

And that's where the story starts...
