eight; the childhood best friend
Some Girls Have All the Luck
"We have another new student from Paris," everyone gasped because of what Mr Lee had said that morning. "...please come in, Ms Kim." And with that the door opened and another gorgeous, rich girl entered the room. Seriously.
"OMG, Marsha!" Sera squealed as she flung herself to hug the newcomer. "I miss you, oh my God!"
"I miss you more, Sera. Oh my goodness, you look even more gorgeous than I remember!"
"Who is she, dude?" Mina heard Sehun's friends whispering to him. She didn't hear Sehun's response though as Mr Lee interrupted the two girls in front.
"Okay, introduce yourself already Ms Kim so we can start our class now." He said. Sera went back to her seat, the same moment her friends whispering all to her.
The new girl flipped her long hair to the side, held her head up proudly, and showed a boastful smirk on her face. "Hello everyone. I'm Marsha Kim, from Paris. Please do take care of me everyone."
"Sure, I'll take care of you." Chen sputtered making Sera turned her head to his direction.
"Back off, Kim Jongdae." Sera glared. "You'll never ever gonna lay your hands on my best friend." She said with a proud smirk.
"OMG, best friend?"
"Yup, I'm Oh Sera's childhood best friend." Marsha smirked, raising her perfectly-tweezed eyebrows in the process. The she turned her eyes to Sehun. "And Sehun's too."
Mina found the smile she was giving to Sehun like a flirty one.
"Okay, that's enough. You may find a seat now, Ms Kim." Mr Lee outstretched his hand out, pointing a seat nowhere in particular. Seriously, Mr Lee wasn't a friendly teacher to everybody. Sera, however, found an empty spot for her to sit—which was the seat on Mina's right side.
"Um, excuse me but you can actually take mine." Sera's friend who sat behind her offered Marsha to take hers so Marsha and Sera would be sitting close with each other.
"No, thanks but this seat is okay for me. " Marsha was smiling sweetly as she looked over to Sehun. "I feel close to Sehun."
Mina couldn't help herself to blink her eyes at her. The new girl was obviously flirting with Oh Sehun! Not that she cared at all.
Marsha noticed her staring at her. She raised her eyebrows again. She knew that look. It was a why-are-you-staring-at-me-you-little-wench kind of look. Mina gulped and tore her eyes away from her. Staring into Marsha's eyes was like staring into a snake's eyes.
At lunch, Mina was eating by herself again. No one bothered to share a table with her. The table across her was Sera's table. She was with her friends again, and that Marsha Kim was officially added in her pack. Well, in the first place she was Sera's childhood best friend so it would be weird if she's not added into the group.
