nineteen; Sera's gold credit cards
Some Girls Have All the Luck
It's been a week already since Mina let her aunt Soyoo live with her in the house. Yes, she took her auntie and let her live with her since there was no place she can call home after the fire incident. Worse, she lost her one and only daughter. Her aunt Soyoo was devastated and Mina felt so bad for what happened. Three days ago, they took Hyunjoo's ashes to the ocean and Mina was there to comfort her aunt who can't seem to stop crying.
She knew how it felt like to lose someone important in your life. She knew how it feels. That was the same reason why she decided to be there for her aunt. They both don't have anyone to be there for them but instead, they have each other.
Her Aunt Soyoo changed after what happened. She was no longer the witch aunt she used in knowing her. For these past days, her aunt kept on apologizing to her for everything she had done. Mina, in return, kept on telling her that it was alright and that she already forgave her for what she did. Some people would be having a hard time trusting a bad person but she was different. After all, she can totally say her aunt was sincere. During those night, she can hear her crying for her daughter's loss. Which was also painful for her too. There was one night that they cried together for everything that happened to them both.
Today was Saturday and since Mina don't have anything to do, she decided to do her thing in the kitchen. That afternoon, she made carbonara. Her aunt loved it so much that she asked her to teach her, and she was more than willing to do it. She was a fast-learner though and it made all things easy.
An hour later, both of them were eating steamed bun while watching some boring shows just to kill the time. Suddenly, the doorbell rang and Mina stood up to get it. She wasn't expecting anyone so she was really puzzled who could it be.
Until she saw Oh Sera smiling at her as she stood right in front of her doorstep.
"Hi, Mina." She greeted.
"H-Hello, Sera." She muttered, still shocked.
"Um, am I disturbing you or anything?"
"N-No, of course not." Mina bit her lower lip, undeciding whether she will invite her in. For heaven's sake, her house looked like a barn compared to the Oh's mansion! But in the end, she invited her inside.
"Thanks." Sera, still smiling, entered her humble abode. When she spotted her aunt, she immediately bowed her head. Aunt Soyoo bowed hers too.
"Auntie, this is Sera. Sera this is my auntie." Mina introduced them with each other.
"Good afternoon. Nice meeting you, ma'am." Sera greeted with a smile.
"Nice meeting you too, Sera-shi." Aunt Soyoo replied. "You want some juice or anything? I'll make you one."
"Oh, just water ma'am. Thanks."
"So what made you here?" Mina asked her as soon as her aunt left to the kitchen.
"Oh." Sera turned to her with a grin on her face. No. She doesn't like that grin on her face. "I just want to invite you and go shopping with me. If that is, you're not busy."
Mina gaped at her. "Me? But why? I-I mean, why not Marsha?"
"Nah, I just want to have fun with you." She was still beaming at her. "I realized we haven't spend time together. And you know, I want to know you more Mina-yah."
