seventeen; what the heck
Some Girls Have All the Luck
"Mina!" Sera waved at her frantically when she saw her the next morning as she was busy doing her thing on her locker. Mina felt the students around frozen on their feet. It was like they weren't expecting Sera to greet her while waving and smiling at her.
Like for real.
She could feel the hair at the back of her neck went straight up. Questioning looks and frowny glances were being toseed on her way. It was like they couldn't believe it that Oh Sera was being friendly to Jung Mina all of a sudden. Yeah right.
"Good morning, Mina." Sera finally reached her and the hair at the back of Mina's nape straightened up as if she was electrified. "How's your arm?" Sera asked, oblivious as to what was happening around.
She awkwardly looked at her, not used to see her having a friendly talk to her. Well, Mina knew she should get use to it after this. "I-It's fine now. Don't worry." She told her.
Sera smiled. "I'm glad to hear that. So, can we walk together to our room? I mean, I hope you won't mind." How could Mina say no? Sera was actually giving her a hopeful look like she really wanted to walk with her.
"O-Oh. Sure, no problem." She smiled awkwardly. Sera then cheerfully clapped her hands as if she was excited or something. Like she find walking with her was exciting and thrilling.
Not for her though. Not when the surrounding students gave them both intriguing and weird looks. And it worsen when they arrived in their classroom. Imagine the sudden silence as if aliens had arrive.
"Sera?" Marsha blinked at Sera as if she couldn't believe her best friend was with her. Marsha's eyes went then into slits as she looked at her like she had done something to Sera. "Can someone please tell me that I'm just dreaming or hallucinating." She muttered.
Sera laughed. "No, Marsh. Me and Mina are now friends." She said and an ear-splitting 'what' can be heard throughout the entire room. Mina couldn't breathe anymore.
"Are you kidding me?" Marsha scoffed. "What the heck is wrong with you?"
Sera shrugged. "Nothing's wrong with me, Marsh—"
"Then why are you suddenly friends with her?" Marsha asked like it was a really stupid idea to be friends with someone like her.
Sera shrugged again as she moved towards her chair. Mina too moved her feet. She could feel Sehun frowning at her. Didn't his twin sister tell him what happened last night?
"Mina helped me last night to the point of risking her own life." Sera told them. "I think she isn't that bad as I thought she was."
"What the hell!" Marsha muttered like her best friend had gone crazy.
"Mina," It was Chen. "Can you slap me? Because I think I'm dreaming." He said and Mina almost laugh if not only because of Sehun who was somewhat glaring at her.
"Are you really friends now with Sera?" Baekhyun asked with his still-shocked face. Before Mina could answer, Marsha went on questioning Sera.
"And what kind of help is that?"
Sera sighed, sounding like she was already tired and annoyed with all the stupid questions. "I was almost robbed last night. Mina thankfully saw me and she immediately got off the bus to help me out. She was harmed, Marsh. One of the guys winged her with knife on her arm."
"Wait, was this after our shopping?" Marsha asked and Mina's head snapped up. Our shopping? So that means Marsha was with them. And she didn't even bother to drive her be
