"Kibum, can you do my homework?" Another one of my classmates asked me.

 

Sigh, being smart is too troublesome. 

 

I'm Kim Kibum. I'm always asked by my classmates to do their homework for them, so that they can 'slack off' and 'hang out' with their friends. But don't worry, I'm used to it. Being smart is just a little trouble for me. I'm from Tae Sung High.In 2nd year, and in Class A-2. I don't have much friends. The only ones I call as my friends are Donghae, my hyper &

noisy bestfriend. Donghae seems to be a flirt in girls, but there's one girl he likes. And there's Yuri, my strong & scary childhood friend. I guess Yuri's cute, but I don't really have 'feelings' for her. 

 

I opened my small book and started reading.

 

Then, somebody touched my right shoulder.

 

"Yow, Kibum!" Donghae said.

 

"Oh, Donghae. It's just you."

 

"Whadya' mean 'It's just you'?! Aren't you happy to see your bestfriend?!" He shouted.

 

"Oh~ Friend~ How happy I am to see you~ Joy Joy~" I sarcastically said.

 

"Aish!" 

 

I continued reading my book.

 

"So, what do you want?" I said.

 

"Well, you know, there's a new student in Class A-1. She's smart & really cute!"

 

"So?"

 

"So! Let's try talking to her in lunch!"

 

"You go. I'm not eating."

 

"Huh? Why?"

 

I sighed.

 

"Lemme guess, homework again?" He asked.

 

I nodded and closed my book.

 

"Man, you're really busy, huh!" He said "Oh well. Might just be boring without good ol' Kibum!" He walked away.

 

I playfully waved goodbye.

 

After class, I walked to the rooftop. 

 

I like going to the rooftop. It's warm & quiet there. I usually sleep there in lunch when I'm not hungry. 

 

I sat on the floor, looking at the clear sky. 

 

Then, a girl blocked away the view.

 

"There you are!" Yuri said.

 

"Oh, Yul."

 

"Where have you been?! I told you this morning to meet me at gym, right?!"

 

"Oh, yeah, I forgot. Sorry."

 

"Don't 'sorry' me! I hate you!" She angrily walked away.

 

I sighed. "What a confusing girl."

 

Sometimes I get confused in Yuri's actions. She gets easily mad when I do something 'wrong'. But, oh well. I guess girls are just hard to understand.

 

Then, I heard someone step.

 

"Who is there?" I asked, not looking.

 

"Oh, um.... I-I'm sorry, did I disturbed you?" A girl said.

 

"No." I turned around, and saw a girl, a pretty girl actually. 

 

She's pretty, and has very long black hair. She seems to be in the same height as me, but I don't know. 

 

"U-Um.... You're.. You're Kim Kibum, right?" She asked me.

 

"Mhm. I am. And you're...?" 

 

It's strange that she knows me. It's not like I'm popular or anything.

 

"I'm Seo Joo Hyun of Class A-1. Um, I'm still a transfer student. I had just transferred here."

 

"Oh. Then, you're the girl who Donghae was talking about."

 

"Who?" She asked.

 

"Oh, nothing." I said. "So, how did you know my name?"

 

"Well, d-don't you remember that, you helped me this morning?"

 

"This morning?"

 

Then, a sudden flashback came into me.

 

{Flashback}

 

I was walking to school, but then, I saw a girl, who seems to be lost. 

 

She wore the female uniform of my school, so she might be my schoolmate.

 

"Um, do you know where... Tae Sung High is?" She asked me.

 

"Oh, uh, It's there" I pointed out the direction to where it is.

 

"O-Oh, thank you very much!" She smiled.

 

She then ran.

 

Hm, must be a transfer student.

Oh. So she's the girl who asked me for directions.

 

"U-Um, K-Kim Kibum?" She asked.

 

I got back to reality. "Oh, yeah?"

 

"Um... were you.. spacing out?"

 

"N-No!" I said and looked away. "So, what is it?"
