~Yunho~

For some reason it felt.. kind of.. quiet.. early.. and.. empty. I was conscious, but my eyes closed. I felt the stream of light through the window hit my eyes . I guess it was morning already.

I knew that Changmin will be coming in soon and wake me up, so I decided to stay in bed until he did.
Lots of things had time to go through my mind..
The past few days that I've spent with Yuki, I felt more happier, and just being around her was making me feel even more at ease. Not that I just enjoyed being around .. but she made me forget about everything else around me when I was with her..

It relieved me and I didn't feel any stress. The exams were coming up and she had been helping me after the Go Stop game yesterday. She was younger than me, and didn't understand everything in the book, but her effort of trying to help me was really something that I appreciated and in the end, after several minutes of discussing what the solution could be, we found out together, understanding it together..

She was recovering fast and I knew that she was going to be discharged soon.
It suddenly hit me the promise that I had made before I started to take care of her and that was that I was going to stay away from her after I had taken care of her..
But now when I've gotten so used to have her around me, to hang out with her and spend time with her, I think I would feel.. lonely if I couldn't keep seeing her..

I suddenly realized that .. if I decided to stay away from her.. I would go back to the me from the past, the one who was.. mourning.. and just crying.. longing for something that he couldn't have..
I couldn't let that happen.. I was feeling.. so .. much better now.. then what I have for a very long time..

It also hit me that it felt like I had overcome something. Something that was very important in my life.. Something.. that I felt like I've forgotten for some reason..

I heard a car pass by outside which took me back to the reality and I pushed the thoughts in my head to the back of it. It was awkward.. wasn't it?

It was.. spookily quiet.. and it's never like this.. I don't know for how long I've been staying in bed but shouldn't Changmin come in and wake me up with his harsh and cold attitude?
Grab my blanket and throw it on the chair so that I would get up?

I sat up slowly and opened my eyes and looked around in the room. It felt.. like I have.. overslept for some reason..

I got out of bed and walked out of my bedroom and was passing the members rooms slowly. All their doors were half opened. I knocked on the first door which was Junsu's and Yoochun's room..

"Are you guys up?" I whispered

I stuck my head through the door gap but to my surprise.. I didn't find any of them on their beds. They were neatly made and there was no sign of them having slept all night.

"awkward.." I mumbled

I walked over to JaeJoong's room and he wasn't there either, same goes for Changmin.

"Where are they?" I mumbled

I went to the kitchen and on the table a bag was packed and served already and also a note. I walked over to the table, grabbed the letter and unfolded it to read :

"Yunho ah~~

We're on a school trip and will be back next week. I've already cooked lunch for you and Yuki although, you have to take care of yourself and Yuki for the upcoming days. Don't worry. We'll call you soon. Sorry if we didn't had time to say goodbye earlier and told you about it. We were really in a hurry. I promise to explain everything when we get back. Take care

For some reason I was kind of .. sensing that they were out together somewhere but on a schooltrip? That didn't sound.. normal anywhere. All of sudden ? Just like that?

"Aish.. you guys just want to leave me here by myself with Yuki so that you guys can have fun.. Fine.." I muttered

Well, I can't really be mad at them.. They had been taking care of her which I hadn't and also, they weren't the one who was the guilty person for causing her to end up at the hospital.

Well.. maybe they had all the right to leave like that.. but it wouldn't hurt to even say goodbye right?

I shrugged and looked at the clock

"OMO~~! I'm LATE!!"

I took off in the highest speed and into the bathroom and took a shower and brushed my teeth. I hurried to get out and put on some clothes, grab the bag with the books and ran to the kitchen to grab the bag with food and then out to the car after locking the door.

I burst right through the door to her hospitalroom.

"I'M SORRY I'M LA....."

I quieten as I saw the doctor and the nurse looking at me weirdly as Yuki were chuckling by herself

"Morning to you too Yunho" She smiled

"You know the word Knocking?" The nurse laughed

I chuckled embarrassed as I walked over to the table and put down the bags and looked at them

"What.. are you doing?" I asked politely

The doctor smiled

"We're taking her to the examination room. According to my testresults, she has been recovering very well. Amazingly fast if you ask me.. It's way too fast for being injured so badly due to the glasses.." The doctor said

"They checked up on me when you left yesterday and changed the band aid. They said it was healing so well" She smiled brightly

I felt the happiness inside of me filling up every cell that I had in my entire body as a smile soon appeared on my face

"CHINCHA?!" I gasped

She nodded

I pulled her into a hug as she laughed and hugged me back

"So.... Seems like Yunho~~ssi has brought lunch for you.. so you can eat first and then we'll come back to take off the band aid" The doctor said

She nodded

"Kamsa Hamneeda" She bowed

"Kamsa HAmneeda" I bowed happily

As soon as they left I hugged her again as both of us were laughing

"THat's great news!!" I smiled and looked at her

She nodded

"Yunho ah~.. You're like.. 2 hours late.. Wae?" She asked me

"Oh.." I said slowly

She waited for an answer

"Well the reason is that .. Changmin didn't wake me up today. I woke up by myself.. and soon realized that the members are gone" I said truthfully

"Mwoh? Gone? What do you mean by gone?" She asked surprised

I shrugged and sat down on the chair

"THey.. I mean.. Uh.. I don't know myself actually. I just woke up, didn't find anyone at home and saw the note which Jae had written that they were on a schooltrip and will be back next week" I said

"Just like that? Without saying goodbye?" She asked a bit hurt

I noticed the sad eyes and her disappointment. I really didn't want her to feel disappointed so I decided to joke it away

"Well.. uh.. I guess they've been really busy with school and such. They've been spending time like worms at the library" I smiled

A small sign of a smile appeared on her face

"Don't worry.. They'll be back. I'll be here though.. So.. let's eat araso?" I said

She nodded

I took the bag over to the hospital table, which I had pushed so that she could eat while sitting on the bed

"FINALLY!!" I breathed and threw myself down on the big bed

We had landed about an hour ago and just arrived at the hotel which Yoochun had booked, not far away from the airport. About 50 minutes with car. We were right now in California, San Francisco..

The weather's really nice but we weren't here for sightseeing or exploring new places. We had a mission to take care of

"Should we .. unpack our stuff and get started right away?" Junsu asked

"Can't we just rest for a bit?" I asked exhausted

"Aniyo.. We have no time to loose" Yoochun said tiredly

All of us were tired. We couldn't sleep on the airplane cause it was uncomfortable and since none of us could sleep, we were planning like idiots on how to find the different places and the first thing we bought when we landed at the airport was a Korean-English book which would help us..

We were lucky to see an tourist bookstore with dictionaries and such so I guess the luck was on our side at the moment..
Even though Yoochun once lived here his english was totally a mess at the moment since he barely can remember english.. Well he knows the basic

We had decided to pair ourselves in 2-2 so that it'll be faster to find the woman..

She was first on our list and we had to look for her place first before seeing another one..

"Let's just all take a shower, have some food and then go ok? I really don't want to waste time" Yoochun said

I nodded

"I'll shower first then.." Changmin said tiredly and got into the shower

I don't know what happened but soon I fell asleep on the bed as I heard Changmin turn on the water..
