Because - Sunggyu (INFINITE)

Narrator’s P.O.V:
The day after your birthday party, everything was fine.
And the day after that, everything was fine.
So why was it that they were leaving you now?
Everything was most definitely not fine.
You knew that you were asleep right now. You were dreaming. This was all a dream.
However, it wasn’t just a dream. It was a nightmare, to put it simply.

In the darkness, you were wandering alone. “Hello?” You tried to call out, but your voice didn’t work. You couldn’t speak. You could only walk around and listen. “HELLO?” You cried, but your voice still wouldn’t come out.
Figuring out that you couldn’t talk, your feet automatically walked farther and farther into the depths of darkness. It was quiet and a thick silence ensued.
Suddenly, you saw a little flash of light at the very end of the path. Relief washing over your body, you broke into a sprint and ran as fast as your legs could take you. You were getting closer to the light.
But you stopped as you saw six familiar backs turned towards you. You could recognize their hair and clothes. They were your oppas.
“Oppas!” You shouted, but nothing happened.
You got closer to them, and finally, Jeongmin turned around, smiling at you. *Jeongmin oppa.* You smiled back at him.
One by one, all your oppas turned around and gave you that same smile back. It looked almost mechanical. You reached towards them, but your feet stopped. You tried to move them, but your legs felt like they were glued into place.
They just stared at you wearing that same smile until they all turned around, back facing you once again. They all continued to walk towards the light.
“NO!” You wanted to scream. “Come back!” But they didn’t budge. You stuggled to walk, run, or even jog, but your legs wouldn’t obey.
And then, finally, your voice worked.
“Oppas! Oppas, wait!!” You shouted.
All six of them froze immediately. They stared at you as you whispered, “Don’t go… Please…” Tears threatened to fall.
“Why are you leaving me…? You promised to be with me!” You sobbed. They all gave you a smile. *Goodbye.* Their voices said in your mind. *Goodbye.*
You looked up with watery eyes to see Kwangmin with tears streaking his cheeks
“Mianhae, _________...” He whispered.
A flashback re-appeared of that snowy night when Kwangmin scared you by asking the question of leaving. You now knew why he said that. “No! Kwangmin!” You reached out for him, but your feet were still attached onto the floor. He turned around and walked away.
“I love you, my adorable girlfriend.” Minwoo gave you a tearful smile as he kissed your forehead and walked away as well. *Minwoo oppa…* Your teardrops plopped on the ground.
“Saranghae.” Jeongmin winked as he blew a bubble. You heard the faint popping noise as he left with Donghyun, who told you he loved you too.
Hyunseong gazed into your eyes and sang Baby Baby once again. You understood the meaning of the song. You didn’t want to leave him and he didn’t either, but you both had to. “Love you.” You saw how his back turned on you and how he walked off.
The only one left was the blonde. Youngmin smiled lightly and kneeled down beside you. You could feel the soft touch of his fingertips as he wiped your tears away.
“Youngmin oppa… Stay with me…” You pleaded.
Youngmin’s eyes watered up as he shook his head. “You know very well that I can’t… I’m sorry that it turned out like this. I didn’t want to let you go. I promised to protect you… I’m sorry. I love you.” He kissed your lips quickly but sweetly.
Suddenly, the light seemed to pull him in. Youngmin looked sorrowful, and you were horrified. He held out his hand as you reached out for it. “Oppa… OPPA!!” You screamed loudly.
And then… He was gone.
They were all gone in the blink of an eye.
“OPPA!” You whimpered loudly, opening your eyes. You stared at the ceiling of your room. It was all just a dream. It was just a scary nightmare.
You could hear the birds chirping outside. It was the morning. A rush of relief filled you when you realized that it was just a nightmare.
Or was it?

That was an incredible ending. You are really talented. The ending made me cry, my bias from Boyfriend is Youngmin and I imagined my self as the girl in the story and that Youngmin was my one and only true love~ Ahaha I loved this. I thought they wont come back. This story made me cry, smile, laugh and fangirl like a freak. head up: Don't read this in public you will get weird stares~ You are inspiring me to write a better fanficion.I seriously look up to you, like an unnie even if I don't know you. Please keep writing forever. Thankyou for your hard work and effort in this story. I noticed. lol that is all....I think...
