There will come a day where a girl will experience a love life for herself. Not just any random love relationship where neither a guy or a girl would take things seriously just because. But a love life where it's a committed one. It's more of a marriage relationship type of thing, only not really marriage. Just a strong committment to love one another. However in this story, no matter how hard our main protagonist tries to live a normal life with that one special person in her heart, it seems her efforts may go to waste.

Choi Hanuel, a sixteen-year-old girl, always wanted to live a normal life. But with her parents gone and left with just an empty house to live in and their savings combined with what she earns from work, Haneul strives to pass that arduous obstacle in her life every single day to not get stuck in the past. Included in her past is something she has regretted on doing and wished that she has never done it at all: confessing. Hanuel was in love with the school's most popular student: Kim Jongin. Typically known as Kai. She fell in love for him and decided to confess. However the outcome was not as expected. Rather than accepting it, he rejected her instead. After that, Haneul dated one guy but then unfortunately cheated on her, soon leaving her back to square one. One day, out of nowhere, Kai suddenly declares Haneul as his girlfriend, catching Hanuel by surprise. Whether all of this is a joke or a reality, will Haneul play this game with Kai? Or will she, once again, fall in love once more with the jerk next door?
