He spills coffee his been drinking all over his shirt and on the floor and Key and Amber eyed at him mischievously. He just keep staring and he’s not sure he should even be talking in case he happens to say something he shouldn’t say but he manages to mumble out a compliment. “You, uh, you look really nice.”

She narrows her eyes at him. “No, I don’t,” she snaps and she almost sounds offended. “ I look like terrible.”

"Yeah," he says, off Sulli’s murderous gaze. "You look…bad. Really hideous."

Her gaze flickers to him, her eyes looking a little hurt. “Is it that bad?” She turn around while trying to see herself with her ballgown. He can’t stop looking at her. He’s like standing on the edge of a cliff and it’s his own damn fault if he falls. ”You look really beautiful,” he says honestly, genuinely, because she does and she deserves to know.

A smile lights up her face and she laughs. He looks at her face as he involuntarily thinks to a night, standing in under the moonlight, his hands gently  her hair, her arms around his neck, her lips against his lips - no.

"I have to go," he sputters suddenly, hurriedly going to the door. He manages to slip a little on the spilled coffee and he hears laughter from Key, Amber and Sulli behind him.

"Bye," she calls after him, sounding faintly amused. Her eyes in a smile as she watches him going. "Yah! Key, you’re cousin is really weird."

His now inside his car and his head against the steering wheel.
