" Life is peaceful but boring. " A girl with long brown hair and a gentle face muttered to herself as she strolled along the early morning street. She made her way towards the intimidating metal gates of a local college, with a pair of turquoise earphones lodged firmly in her ear.

Another day of school, Park Ara, you better pay closer attention today if you want to pass your exams, She thought grimly to herself, shaking her wrist so that the crystal heart pendant hooked on her bracelet shimmered brightly in the sunlight.

Ara squared her shoulders and adjusted her small maroon backpack against her petite frame before entering the school gates. It was still early and not many students were around. As much as she liked being puntual, it was way too early for her liking. Grumbling to herself, she regretted leaving the house so early.

As she glanced at the clock on the wall, Ara realised that she had a whole 40 minutes to spare before lessons officially started for the day. The girl headed to the female washroom to check on her appearance and fix her hair. She had to make sure that she looked presentable. She smiled in satisfaction as she patted her hair in place. It wasn't so much that she was vain. Ara was the type of person that liked to make sure she looked her best. It was just the way she is.

Brown hair that fell past her shoulders, a pair of soulful brown puppy eyes and rosy cheeks flushed in the shade of a sakura pink normally led others to label Ara as " pretty ". She didn't agree though, the number of pretty girls around her was so high that she felt pathetically average. 

Ara the tap and washed her hands. As the cold water splashed against her fingers, she sighed in content. Growing up, Ara always loved the feeling of water against her skin. The comfort that she experienced being in close contact with water was not something the girl could easily describe. A mermaid, that was what her cousins used to call her. She could swim so much better then any of them even though they were older than her. 

Ara was so lost in her own thoughts that she failed to notice a movement behind her. She gasped in shock at a low voice that came from behind her. It definately belonged to a man and she was in the female bathroom.

Spinning around, the girl prepared to either scream loudly or throw a punch when a pair of cold hands covered gently.

" Please, remain calm " 

She looked up at the intruder and blinked in suprise. 

hello! I decided to start on a new story. I'll still update my first one though hahaha ;)

This story is somewhat supernatural, fantasy and romance ( /wink/ ) blended into one. I've always wanted to write a story like that. This is only my second time writing and I hope that people will actually like it! I'll definately pour more feelings and effort in this story so please enjoy (:
