Answer Me 2009
Description
In 2011, another girl group debuted named Daydream under a new label called Aurora Media Exclusive (AMENT). This girl group consisted of five girls who had failed to debut under other companies and even their own current company. Most Korean idol pop fans believed they were a group full of "recyled" trainees who probably wouldn't amount to much.
As they came from a small company with a song that didn't stand out so much, their debut didn't really attract too much attention. Sure, they were cute and had decent voices, but so did many other idols. Despite their company being quite confident in them, they were what international and Korean fans alike would have called nobodies.
But thankfully, in 2012, they finally released a digital single that would climb to the top of the charts and rock South Korea. And right after that, they had follow up promotions with another song that surprisingly did well. They began to get invited to partake in commercials, variety shows, dramas, and such. And with that, they soon began to steal away the hearts of the general public.
Daydream had another hit that cemented their place on the top in late 2012 along with dramas from two of the members that did particularly well. After that, they were called South Korea's sweethearts among other names. Most of their activities and promotions after 2012 were met with success, and they were quite popular.
It's 2025 now. It's been 14 years and almost 15 years since their debut. Meeting up at a reunion with some of their former fellow idols, they recall the years in between in which they had to suffer through hardship but also enjoy their lives together.
What has happened to the five girls of Daydream? What happened to Daydream itself?
