Nam Haeri hates everyone. She hates her parents, her brother, her classmates, everyone. She hates it when they look at her. She hates it when they touch her. She hates it when they want to spend time with her. She hates everything they do that involves her.

            Why? Because she’s dying.

            Their looks make her feel they pity her. Their touch makes her feel she’s weak. Their desire to be with her makes her feel she has very little time left to live. She hates everyone. She hates her disease.

            Nam Woohyun is her older brother. Being in Infinite gives him less time to be with her. Every little time he has off schedule, he goes home to her. But she pushes him away every time. It pains him every time he sees her pale, when she can’t even hold herself up for a few minutes.

            Haeri used to be an ecstatic Inspirit. She tried to go to every event they had that didn’t interrupt her school schedule. She went to every concert they had in Seoul. She bought all of their albums. She read all their posts on their different accounts. She even wrote poems, essays, and novels about them. But ever since her illness kicked in, she started losing hope in everything.

            To Infinite, the absence of Haeri is very significant. She was a great fan. Although Woohyun is her brother, she never used it as an access to contact Infinite.  The only times she went to their shoots or even their dorm were when Woohyun asked her to bring something from their house.  The absence of Haeri affected one member the most. When she was around, he barely noticed her. He even found her annoying sometimes because he knew that he was her favorite member. He did not realize he was fond of her until they lost her, until she stopped attending their events, until she stopped showing herself up to anyone.

            Hopeless Haeri expects her death in a few months time. She lets the clock tick by as she sat by her window everyday, watching the world go by despite her dying. To her, she was insignificant, she was not a loss. Why not die now?
