How did I come up with ‘The Abandoned Wolf’?

I think it was fate. Like seriously. When I first created it, it was actually called ‘Spotlight’ and I wanted it to be something like a one-shot request shop that revolves around Kyungsoo. At that moment, I didn’t even think about making it a wolf au. So I kind of went to bed but I couldn’t sleep. All that was on my mind was the fic/shop and I don’t know why but I kept feeling worried about it. So instead of sleeping, I kept thinking about it when the title just popped in my head. It literally went like this:

Brain: Hey, what about ‘The Abandoned Wolf?

Me: You’ve got to be kidding me. Another cliché werewolf story?

Brain:  It ain’t cliché if the main character is Soo and that he got abandoned. Imagine all 11 of them being so clingy around him. Wouldn’t that be awesome? It’s like another definition of heaven.

Me: …. *Takes out handphone and immediately changed the title*

Hahaha that was actually how this whole story came about! It was never my intention in my first place. My stupid brain just had to add it in. I swear that brain of mine has a soul of its own. And that’s why I said it was fate. I was seriously kind of laughing and having a mini celebration dance when I realised how much potential this story has and how much love it is receiving.

Why Kyungsoo as the main character? Why not Luhan?

So there has been like a few people who asked me this question. Some did not believe Kyungsoo would fit the role and thought that Luhan was a better choice. They read the story and I guessed it changed their mind when they realised that Soo was the one for it.

There’s only 2 reasons to why Kyungsoo was the one.

The first is my obsession with Do Kyungsoo. The first person who got me into EXO was Kyungsoo. The first person who ever made me go crazy over someone’s voice was Kyungsoo. The first person who ever made me believe that someone who looks so innocent might actually be a spawn of Satan was also Kyungsoo. And no matter what he does, I just love it.

Yes, I’m crazy about Soo like I’ve never been that crazy over someone before. (Don’t worry, I’m not one of those fangirls who are IN LOVE with him.) And as I come to love Soo, I’ve also came to love his relationship with s. And that brings us to the second reason.

Ever noticed how each and every member love touching him? They all treat him like this precious little pet they have and I just transfer what I see into the story. No, I don’t think that they love Soo. (I believe they are all straight) but I do believe that maybe Soo means something special to them. Whatever it is, that was the other reason why it was KyungsooxEveryone.

Why isn’t there any ?
