"You know, if I were your girlfriend, and you're giving me that kind of attitude, I'll surely replace you." 

The words I just said seemed to have slapped Baekhyun right on the face. I shot him a glance, and his face seemed like it was drenched in cold, agonizing water. His cheeks were starting to resemble the color of roses as his fists slightly clenched.

For some very odd reason, I felt guilty. I wish I hadn't said something about being replaced. I totally forgot that Baekhyun was cheated on before.

I felt really bad about it, but I guess apologizing was too late. It was my mission after all. Be strong, Seul Min.

I'm not in here to build budding friendships with Baekhyun. I'm doing this to provide my mother the life she deserves. 

Baekhyun and I had a staring contest. He was not moving an inch, and it froze me as well. Certainly, Baekhyun was angry.

I forcibly moved my feet and left him.

I needed to get going. My memory told me that I had to deal with Chanyeol next.

Ah. The much awaited closure.

After the MBC competitions, I hurried over to grab an affordable meal of spicy tteokbokki and ramyun noodles. Somehow nervous and extremely hungy, I consumed everything in record time. 

Yes, people, I eat like a maniac. I'm not like those girls on tumblr who look super fine when eating rainbow-colored cotton candy. When I eat, I eat real. No drama, no small bites, no wiping of mouth with tissue and all those graceful movements.

I kept on practicing what to say to Chanyeol while I was inside the elevator.

"Chanyeol, you are a scumbag for leaving me. It's your loss." I mumbled to myself. 

Talking to myself in the elevator? Mental. Telling Chanyeol that it's his loss for breaking up with me? Wrong. So wrong.

Without taking note of the time, I walked slowly and opened the door leading to the rooftop. The clock on my phone said 9:31 pm.

My ex-boyfriend was already standing near the ledge of the balcony. I cleared my throat. He looked over his shoulder, and a familiar string tugged at my heart when we met each other's eyes.

I can't believe this was the same guy who confessed to me when were still in senior high. He was goofy, nerdy, and above all, he loved me.
