Bitter Sweet...

 Dongwoo’s POV:

I stood on the side as girls grinded on me, but I didn’t care.

The only thing I could think about was my dream girl.  Yong Jaehwa.  She was not too far from me, dancing with her boyfriend, the leader of our rival group, C.A.P, in a sea of people.

Jaehwa is a part of a new girl group called Eternity.  Eternity is supposed to be a girl version of Infinite, Jaehwa’s my girl version.  I don’t know all the details why Woolim Entertainment did it but I know it’s for publicity or something. 

Normally I wouldn’t care that much since I am mostly a player, but when I met her…I started to change.

I love her.  I know I probably won’t be able to have her, but at least I can be by her side, as a friend.

“Oppa…OPPA!” I jumped when I felt someone shake and yell at me.  I looked down and it was K, L’s girl version and Jaehwa’s band mate and close friend.

“What!?” I yelled over the loud club music. 

K sighed then was about to say something but then she pushed away the girls who were grinding on me.  The girls just glared at her but she glared back and they backed away scared.  She then pulled me towards her so she could talk into my ear, “We are going home!  It’s getting late!”

I nodded my head, “Okay!”  I looked over at Jaehwa, she was still dancing with C.AP.  “What about her!?” I pointed to Jaehwa and she looked over at her friend.

“C.A.P oppa is bringing her home later on!  He says he wants to spend a little more time with her!”

“Oh…” I looked down at K.  “Let’s go…” I mumbled then we went to meet up with the rest of Eternity and Infinite.

As we left I couldn’t help but looked back at her then leave sadly with the others.

When we got home I changed my clothes, but didn’t sleep like the others did.  I couldn’t sleep so I stayed up watching TV on the couch.  After a while I fell asleep on the couch…

“Wae?” I heard a voice mumble.  Is this a dream?

I opened my eyes and heard it again.

“Wae?”  Not a dream.

I got off the couch.  Who was that?  It sounded like it was coming from the front door, which wasn’t too far from where I was.   

“Wae…?” The voice repeated.  I quietly crept toward the voice and the front door.  As I got closer I saw a figure on the floor, crying.

“Jaehwa?” I asked as I went to her side.  “What happened?  Are you okay?” I knelt down next to her, moving some hair away from her face.

“Oh…  Oppa.  I didn’t know you were up,” she replied with a hiccup after every word.

“I couldn’t sleep, so I watched some TV,” I put a hand on her shoulder.  She looked up and a mixture of her makeup and tears feel from her cheeks.  I NEVER had seen her like this before, NEVER.  She normally kept her feelings hidden with laughs and trying to be tough.

“H-he broke up with me…” she mumbled then pulled me into a hug.  My eyes widened and I slowly wrapped my arms around her, trying to comfort her.  “He said I was boring and that I didn’t fulfill his needs…  He also said he was already seeing someone else for the past year…  We’ve been going out for two years…”

My jaw dropped, damn…  I know I was a player but I would never do that.  “He doesn’t deserve a girl like you,” I stated and pulled her closer.  “And you’re not boring, whenever I see you with the others you’re always laughing and having fun.”

“I just want to be with him...”

“Like how I want to be with you—“ I covered my mouth when I realized what I said.

“Bwo?” She looked up at me, confused.  I looked down at her face then I cupped her cheeks with my hands.  I wiped away the trails of tears and she stared into my eyes as I did to her. 

I slowly leaned towards her, my eyes shut and my lips gently pressed against hers.  When I pulled away, my eyes opened and I smiled, “I love you.”  She sent me a shocked look.  “That’s right you heard me.”

“But you’re like a player…  I’ve seen all those girls grind on you.”

“I changed ever since I met you, and I don’t care about those girls.  I care about you.” I kissed her forehead.  “Only you.”

“How do I know you’re not lying?”

“I am not lying,” I got up and helped her up.  She doesn’t believe me…Can’t blame her.  “Go wash your face and go to sleep.”  I began walked away into the living room to turn off the TV, feeling the pain of a broken heart.

“But—  Wait—  Oppa,” she called out for me.

I ignored her, “Night.”  I then headed up to my room to sleep, leaving her there.

That night I fell asleep heart broken, but at least she knows how I feel, and at least I got to kiss her once.

Jaehwa...I will love you for an Eternity…
