No one's POV: 

"Looks like things are back to normal again" Chanyeol said the next morning and when Kyungsoo and Sehun looked they couldn't help but sigh. Jongin was back with Krystal in his usual spot and laughing and joking around with her and the others 
"Well it was a given wasn't it?" Kyungsoo asked as they took their seats... only to be surprised when Jongin got up and walked over to them to take a seat 
"What?" he asked when he saw the other three gawking at him 
"W-what?" he asked again and Sehun reached forward to check his temperature
"What has gotten into you guys this morning?" Jongin asked, swatting Sehun's hand away. 

"Well usually... no all of the time you sit with Krystal but today you're sat with us" Chanyeol replied and Jongin shrugged his shoulders 
"Can't I come and sit with you guys?" he asked
"We don't mind... it's just that you didn't do this in the past" Sehun replied and Jongin sighed
"Can't a guy change his mind every once in a while?" he asked 
"I guess so" Chanyeol muttered and Jongin nodded before turning to Kyungsoo 
"You're silent this morning" he said
"Hm? Sorry I'm just a little tired that's all" Kyungsoo replied and Jongin smiled
"Stayed up to late at night again?" he asked and Kyungsoo pretended to laugh. 

"You could say that" he replied and Jongin smiled before turning back to Chanyeol. As the bell rang Kyungsoo looked out to see students scurrying to their classes I mean come on, the looks on some people's faces as they ran through the halls were priceless. That was when he looked over and saw Krystal not staring but glaring at his table. Watching Jongin as he chatted with Chanyeol and Sehun and watched as he laughed at their jokes, she was staring that much she failed to notice Joonmyun walk in and see him frown at her before taking his seat.
"Because that's not obvious" Amber said when she looked over to see Krystal staring 
"Quiet" Krystal replied and Amber rolled her eyes whilst Kyungsoo continued staring from the other side frowning... what was wrong with her?

"So how did your chat with Krystal go after school yesterday?" Kyungsoo asked in chemistry
"Alright actually. I actually got her to sit down, listen to what I say and didn't whine when she spoke back to me" Jongin replied and Kyungsoo nodded
"Good, good" he muttered and Jongin frowned
"Did you just hear anything I said?" he asked
"About how you got her to sit down and listen? Yes. I'm just making sure you don't tip the boiling hot beaker onto you" Kyungsoo replied and Jongin frowned before looking and seeing how close he was before jumping back.

"But seriously though" Jongin began and Kyungsoo sighed 
"I know you and the others to well... you're not impressed are you?" he finished and Kyungsoo fell silent 
"You're my best friend" he began 
"And you're happy with Krystal... and you know we'll never get in the way of what makes you happy" he finished and Jongin smiled before ruffling Kyungsoo's hair 
"You're a good friend Kyunggie" he said and Kyungsoo smiled.

"This is to boring" Jinri whined whilst Qian rolled her eyes 
"Yeah it's nothing like this experiment goes towards our final grades or anything" she replied and Jinri pouted 
"What's the point in chemistry though? It's not like I'm going to use it anywhere" she asked 
"If you get a good grade it'll show you're smart and you'll probably get into a good university" Qian replied but Jinri was still pouting 
"Chemistry is stupid" she muttered and turned around to pick up her book. As she did, a black blob crawled out from underneath and when Jinri realised what it was, her eyes widened before she shouted 
"SPIDER, SPIDER". 

At that, Qian shook her head whilst the other girls in the room began screaming and running away from the table. The teacher was trying to calm them down but it was no use, they just wouldn't listen. That was when Kyungsoo felt someone wrap their arm around his stomach and pull him back as someone ran into the table, knocked the beaker of and the boiling hot water fell on the spot where Kyungsoo was. 
"You alright?" he heard Jongin ask behind him 
"Fine" Kyungsoo replied and Jongin nodded before realising where his arm was and quickly let go, causing Kyungsoo to stumble forward 
"Will everyone calm down please" the teacher shouted and eventually the class began to calm down whilst Jongin and Kyungsoo cleaned up the mess on their table.

"I can get that" Kyungsoo said as he and Jongin leant down at the same time and their hands touched as they went to pick up a piece of glass. Kyungsoo's eyes widened... and he thought he heard Jongin gasp before moving his hand away faster than the speed of light... what was up with him today?

"Are you alright?" Chanyeol asked when he and Sehun ran up to Kyungsoo at lunch 
"Yeah... why?" Kyungsoo replied
"We heard about what happened in chemistry" Sehun said 
"Well... we heard that Jinri got freaked out by a spider and someone ran into your table and nearly splashed boiling hot water all over you" Chanyeol added
"I'm fine, Jongin was there to pull me out of the way... but he was acting weird afterwards" Kyungsoo replied
"How so?" Sehun asked and Kyungsoo shrugged his shoulders 
"I don't know he was just... I don't really know how to explain it" he replied and the three of them made their into the hall where sure enough, Jongin was sat with Krystal... but he seemed out of it and when he saw Kyungsoo looked away instantly, avoiding contact at all costs.

"Do you require counsellor Bongcha today?" said girl asked as she and Kyungsoo sat by their windows
"Yes please" Kyungsoo replied and Bongcha nodded
"What's wrong?" she asked
"Boys"
"What about you guys?"
"We're confusing" Kyungsoo replied and Bongcha laughed a little
"Care to explain how" she replied and Kyungsoo sighed.

"Well it's not all boys... today it was actually Jongin" he began and told her about what happened in chemistry 
"And for the rest of the day he just... avoided me... everytime I went to wave to him his eyes would widen and he would either drop his gaze to the floor or walk away" he finished and Bongcha nodded, staying silent for a moment before finally answering
"Maybe he likes you to" to which Kyungsoo nearly choked on his drink 
"Trust me he doesn't" was his reply and Bongcha frowned
"How do you know that?" she asked
"Because he has a girlfriend meaning he's straight" Kyungsoo replied.

"He could be bi" Bongcha said and Kyungsoo gave her a look as to say 'really?' 
"Trust me Bongcha... he even said I was good friend... that's basically being friendzoned" he added
"But you guys are best friends anyway" Bongcha replied and Kyungsoo sighed 
"I know" he muttered and Bongcha couldn't help but feel for sorry for him 
"Feel like going out for an evening stroll?" she asked
"Yes please" Kyungsoo replied and the two of them smiled
"We'll meet out front in five".
