No one's POV:

"What's everyone doing for Christmas?" Chanyeol asked 
"Staying home" Kyungsoo replied 
"Staying home but getting ready for the exchange student" Sehun replied 
"Visiting family down south"Joonmyun replied before adding "What about you?" 
"Staying here until two days before Christmas Eve then we're going to Jeju Island to spend Christmas with my grandparents" he replied 
"Ooo get you with you with your fancy grandparents" Sehun said and everyone around the table began laughing... well everyone except Kyungsoo... he was to distracted from the kiss Jongin gave him the other day... plus worried that he had done something wrong because Jongin ran away afterwards... and hadn't spoken to him since. 

"You alright there?" Joonmyun asked and Kyungsoo nodded his head
"Yeah, just a little tired that's all" he replied before faking a yawn and Joonmyun nodded before slowly turning his attention back to the other two 
"Everyone promises to keep in touch over the holidays right?" Chanyeol asked and the others nodded
"Good because if you don't and when we get back... I will not a happy virus" he added before Joonmyun raised his hand
"I only have Kyungsoo's number on my phone" he said and then had two phones lobbed at him 
"Add your number and we'll text you later, you can save our numbers that way" Sehun said and Joonmyun nodded before adding his number and Kyungsoo watched him smiling. Finally he was fitting in!

Jongin was confused. Confused because he had no idea as to why he kissed Kyungsoo. Confused because he didn't know why he wanted Kyungsoo to kiss back. Confused because he ran away and had no idea why he didn't just talk to Kyungsoo about it. Overall, he was as confused as he would be taking a maths test. Ever since the kiss... he couldn't get it out of his head! No matter what he did, he always imagined the kiss with Kyungsoo. Not only was it adding to his confusion but it was starting to annoy him. 

"Kim Jongin" his teacher said suddenly, snapping him out of his daydream 
"Yes sir?" he asked 
"Care to answer the question on the board?" his teacher asked and Jongin stared at the question for a second before taking a wild stab in the dark 
"Four" he replied and the teacher paused to work out the answer himself 
"Well done" he said and went back to his class whilst Jongin sat there surprised 
'Guess' he thought to himself before going back to his own problems. 

Walking back to his after the... incident .... Jongin could wipe the frown of his face, after kissing Kyungsoo... it was different than when he use to kiss Krystal. Number one because he had kissed a guy, number two it was his best friends and number three... well... he couldn't really explain number three but when he kissed Kyungsoo, it almost, well it felt as if he enjoyed the kiss. With Krystal he only kissed her to shut her up or because she initiated it and he didn't really feel anything from them. But this one with Kyungsoo, he felt something and he didn't know what it was... but Jongin enjoyed it. 

WAIT!

Kyungsoo was his best friend though! Yeah he liked guys... but Kyungsoo, his best friend, plus Jongin was straight and the kiss meant nothing... right? 
"Right class that is the end of the lesson, have a nice holiday and I'll see you after Christmas" the teacher said as the bell rang and once again Jongin was snapped out of his thoughts before packing his stuff away and making his way out.

"Where has Jongin been these past few days?" Sehun asked as he and the others walked out of school 
"Probably savoring his new found freedom without Krystal" Joonmyun replied
"And he doesn't want to spend it with us?" Chanyeol asked and placed a hand on his chest whilst Kyungsoo rolled his eyes 
"You're so childish" he said and Chanyeol nodded
"Which is why you guys love me" he replied 
"That's what you think" Sehun said and Chanyeol glared at him whilst Joonmyun and Kyungsoo began laughing.

"What's the frown for?" Jongin's mum asked when Jongin walked through the house 
"How do you know if a kiss means something?" Jongin asked and his mum paused before laughing 
"Why so curious all of a sudden?"
"Just wondering" Jongin replied and his mum paused to think for a second 
"Well this is my opinion but I think a kiss means something when you don't really want to pull away from it. Afterwards it's leaves you buzzing and you can't get it out of your head no matter how much you try. In the kiss though, you get this feeling that you can't explain... but you like it" she finally said and Jongin nodded before making his way up the stairs. 

"Not so fast mister, we need to go visit your grandparents" his mum said and Jongin paused on the steps groaning 
"Do we have to?" he asked 
"Yes we do, so hurry up and get dressed, we leave in ten" his mum said and sent Jongin on his way 
"Great" Jongin muttered as he walked into his room that was his evening of doing... nothing ... ruined! 
"Nine minutes" his mum called up the stairs.

"Jonggie" his grandmother shrieked when the door opened
"Hi grandma" Jongin replied before being pulled into a tight hug and his mum stepped into the house 
"Oh do you have guests already?" she asked and Jongin frowned as he went to have a look himself. When he walked into the living room, he saw a woman who he was sure wasn't any of his aunts and a boy sitting on the sofa, phone in hand 
"Who are you guys?" he asked 
"I couldn't find the... oh..." his dad said and Jongin groaned as he turned to face him...

So I wrote this and finished it last night before I went to bed and had it saved so I could publish it this morning to make up for the fact I'm out today and may not be able to update. Yes the chapter may be boring or short but in the next chapter a new mini character is coming along to hopefully make Jongin come to his sense... plus it's getting closer to the appearance of Deer and Unicorn

One more thing... EXO fandom with your fanfics like Anterograde Tomorrow, Absolute Chanyeol and all that.. why so much death and Angst. I just finished Daedalus a Sulay fanfic :'(
