High School Prince 2

Description

Huh, so now I'm frightfully reminded of High School MUSICAL 2. D:

Another story by ricephoenix__! (sigh, I know. She just keeps on writing these lame stories.)

Dun, dun, dun, dun...

Just so you know, this isn't an epilogue of the first High School Prince. There are completely new characters, a new setting and a different plot. But just so you know, Wendy and Jacky are happily married. ;D

And has a kid, named... Robert. o.o

Foreword

Hey fufu. It looks like Mandy isn't the only one scared of something. ;D

Just the thought frightens me. Graduation. It echoes in my head like a bell, ringing continuously, non-stop. It's like some thing was inside my head, ringing it every chance it gets.
"Mandy!" I swirled around, and faced my best friend Ivan Newton. Ivan was basically the high school prince of Brookview High School. It's rather amazing how I became friends with him-- but then again, Ivan was a really nice guy. Of course it was easy to make friends with him. Since I'm friends with Ivan, everyone thinks I'm popular also, but it's actually the opposite. Being the only girl who is a best friend with Ivan makes me the school's target. The girls don't talk to me, instead they shoot me dirty looks everytime I see them in the hallways. Ivan tells me over and over again that they're just jealous. I KNOW they're just jealous but it's been bugging me every since. It would be nice to hang out with some girls at the mall, have sleepovers and do each others' make-up. I mean, it wasn't like it isn't fun hanging out with boys, but it kind of missing out the chance what most girls get in a high school life.
"Wanna go grab a burger from across the street?" Ivan was sweaty from the previous period of Phys Ed but even so, his golden locks that swept his face across his honey, green eyes makes him the evident eye candy of the school.
"Sure," I replied cheerfully. I grabbed my bag and followed him out the doors toward the bustling block. Po's Burgers were really popular with the students here. He offered big, scrumptious burgers with the small price of what a small taco would cost at Taco Bell's.
"I'll pay." I grabbed my wallet from my bag and stood in line as Ivan nodded, heading over to a big table crowded with jocks and cheerleaders.
I sighed, staring at the group. I didn't know half of the people there.
"Uh, hello." I turned back around ;it was finally my turn. I smiled cheerfully at the rather nervous cashier standing at the table and ordered the usual: a double cheeseburger with an order of fries and a large soda for Ivan and a sirloin burger with a side salad and a strawberry milkshake for me. I didn't worry much about carbs, calories or my weight. I was skinny as it was but ate a lot for a girl according to Ivan so I wasn't stressed about my appearance. Ivan always commented on how pretty I looked though really, I haven't been asked out by a single guy all my three years in high school. Was I really that unapproachable?
The cashier handed me my order and I headed to the table, setting down my bag. Some of the jocks and cheerleaders had left leaving me with Ivan and Aaron Masen, the class president.
Aaron was speaking to Ivan about last night's football game, sharing his disappointment on the team's sudden loss. Ivan looked distracted staring off somewhere else. He frowned menacingly for a second before returning to the conversation. I didn't bother asking and took a bite of my burger.
"Thanks for paying today Mandy." Ivan winked at me and took a handful or fries, stuffing it into his mouth. Ivan sure wasn't etiquitte. Even at a fancy restaurant on a special occasion, Ivan would still eat like a hog even if he was dressed in a nice tux. I knew a lot of things about Ivan and one was that he wasn't perfect like most of the girls in the student body thinks. They always obsess over the fact how Ivan was like an angel, handsome and refined. He was nice for a guy, and handsome, but refined was putting it a little far. But I smiled at the fact that I only know this, not anyone else. Sometimes, I wonder if Ivan has feelings for me...
Aaron checked his watch and frowned.
"Sorry mates, I have a meeting to attend." I couldn't help laughing at how he sounds so much like my dad when he gets off to work suddenly on the holidays, even though my dad didn't have an Australian accent.
Aaron looked puzzlingly at me before taking off with his coat on his arm.
Ivan chuckled, shaking at my sudden outburst.
"So much like your dad, eh?" Ivan read my mind.
"Yep," I nodded stupidly.
"Well, let's hurry also." Ivan tapped his watch. I nodded, gobbling up my burger. There was a ketchup stain on my cheek and before I could brush it off, Ivan did, and he his finger.
I smiled funnily at Ivan and followed him out the restaurant, not bothering to notice the groups of glaring girls sitting at the tables, mouthing words like '', '', or the usual, 'b*tch'.
