Description
Being a beautiful wallflower was one of Lee Hyemi's plans to start her own fairytale all over again. Studying, working, graduating, go to college, then graduating again—all part of her plan to give her brother the ideal life.
However, what's not part of her plan is to be Kim Jongin, also known as Kai's girlfriend. Fake girlfriend.
With a deal of one million won, a deal Lee Hyemi couldn't resist, Lee Hyemi was officially Kai's fake girlfriend.
Prolouge
As Kai clenched his fist at the disturbing scene right in front of him, he was thinking of a death sentence for his rival, Choi Minho. He was the first and new boyfriend of Kai's childhood love, and only love, Jung Krystal. They were smiling and laughing as they look each other right in the eye. Annoying, really. Kai knew for a fact that Minho was the one who confessed to Krystal and with Krystal being so kind-hearted, she just couldn't refuse the confession. It wasn't Kai's opinion on the situation, it was merely a fact because Krystal like him too.
Because Kai knew Krystal likes him, he planned on a plan, a brilliant plan that would have knocked Krystal's senses that she's indeed in love with Kai. The plan would be to have a fake girlfriend, a beautiful one. She would be smart, pretty, overall, she had to be perfect. Someone who is wanted by all boys and envied by all girls... Someone like... Like faith, his eyes landed upon a girl who sat with poise on a bench under a cherry blossom tree. He chuckled as if God had specifically gave him all his answers. He knew who she was. Who didn't? Lee Hyemi. She was known to be the the perfect girl in everything. Her grades were the top of the top, her beauty makes girls envious of her and guys wanting her, her personality was thought of to be kind yet witty. She had the potential to have many, many friends and yet she sits there all by herself, reading a book, lost in her own world. However, that didn't matter to Kai. All he knew is Lee Hyemi would be his key to his goal in being his fake girlfriend.
Hyemi sat in concentration, lost in the world of the book. During breaks were the only time she could sit and read for a while and just be in her own little world of fairytales and fantasies. It's her own little escape from every school work, work, people... Oh how she adored being inside different stories, living the life of the characters... falling in love with handsome heroes... She almost smiled at how childish and girly she sounds. However, the outer shell of Lee Hyemi's is the perfect goddess who is kind to all, responsible, does everything with poise. That was her mask to keep her life to being as simple as possible.
After completing a chapter, Hyemi looked up from her book and sighed in content at the feeling of butterflies in her stomach. She had been single all her life and yet even she knows the feeling of love through reading. But now, as she scanned her surroundings, she is back to reality where she is the perfection of all perfection. Doing everything as perfect as they can be, because that's how she wants her life to be. Simple. She stood up and started walking towards the busy hallways as she grabbed hold of her book towards her chest. She is nearing her end of her second year of high school and yet she is still called the 'Perfectionist'. Who even does that though? She is knows for beautiful looks, perfect scores on exams, amazing athletic abilities, all things you could say about her. One of the very simple things Hyemi wished for in life is a simple, peaceful high school life. No ruccuss whatsoever, no troubles just peace and quiet. Yet she looked to her right and see a group of boys stare at her. It's nice to know she's pretty yes, but it's also a bit troublesome. However, she tries to show her gratitude to her 'admirers' because they can be very sweet sometimes. Hyemi bumped in to someone causing her book to fall. "Sorry!" she said as she bent down to pick her book up. A hand was already on her book and she looked up to see the face of Exo's Kai. She felt a bit cliché as she read about this encounter many, many times in books. However, instead of having her heart race, she felt a bit scared at the piercing eyes of Kim Jongin. Hyemi continued to look at Kai's face, Why does he look like he had just captured a prey?
Foreword
Lee Hyemi
Known as the 'Perfectionist' in school. She's known for her beauty, good grades and amazing athletic talent. Even though she's popular, she only has one true friend in school which happens to be her cousin.
She's normally quiet but still responds to when someone speaks to her. When she's comfortable around that specific person then her quiet and composed side would be replaced with her real self: a cheeful young lady who likes to have fun and eat.
She's hardworking and determined to finish what she had started.

Kim Jongin
He's known as Kai in school. He's in a group of handsome boys in school called EXO. He's been in love with a girl since he was in elementary school, too bad it's unrequited love.
Kai came from a wealthy family therefore he's spoilt. He expects people to help him all the time, to like him and want to be his friend. He's playful and childish around his friends but cool and laid back around strangers.
He's determined to get something he wants.

Jung Krystal
She's like a princess. She was raised and brought up in a wealthy environment. Krystal is beautiful, smart but not very athletic. She's polite and kind and filled with poise.
Krystal was brought up in a wealthy family, that's why she always depends on her family's fortune and status to get something that she wants. Her family is close with Kai's therefore they had known each other since they were still children.

Luhan
Along with Kai, he's a member in the popular group of boys in school called EXO therefore he's one of Kai's best friends. He's a typical boy-next-door type of guy. Polite, smart, caring and handsome.
His family's from China and so was he. They moved to South Korea to further invest their family's company.

Lee HyunjongA four year old boy who is Hyemi's little brother. Cute, bubbly and always playful. He refers to Hyemi as 'umma'. Even if he's playful, once you touch a sensitive spot in his heart, he can go wild with anger.

Amber LiuHyemi's bestfriend since childhood. They are also cousin related by their mothers. Amber isn't the ordinary girl. She's a tomboy, dresses like one and acts like one. She's fun, childish but wise.

Choi MinhoKrystal's boyfriend. He's very athletic and kind at heart. He isn't rich like people in his highchool; he only got in because of his athletic abilities.
