Nobody Said It Was Easy

Description

Hey guys! Long time no see! I've recently been on haitus from my other story, but I thought I'd give you something new. =] Enjoy!

Foreword

“Goddamnit.” Dara had just settled herself for the rigorous night of flashcards and sample questions for her upcoming midterm until the loud booming of a techno beat vibrated from next door. Why couldn’t they put the business department far away from the music majors?

She knew well enough who that person would be and she could care less about his “precious music sessions.” She scoffed to herself, precious my .

Dara got up and stomped out of the study room and barged right next door, “Do you not have anything else to do on a Friday night?!” She yelled.

Her eyes darted into the corner ignoring the multiple stares around the room and zoned right onto one person.

His back was towards her and she couldn’t help but think about those damn broad shoulders. Like, really? Did they have to look so good on someone she hated so much? Then, those shoulders bounced. He was laughing. At her.

That only made her more furious. Dara slowly walked towards him and spoke very low and careful, “We had an agreement. I’ve stuck to mine, and you’re not sticking to yours. So help me god, Jiyong, do not make me humiliate you again.”

Dara stopped just a couple feet behind the person named Jiyong with her hands clenched in little fists. Suddenly Jiyong slowly turned around with his head down low focusing to readjust the hospital ID bracelet on his wrist.

Dara bit the inside of her cheek as she saw the bracelet and unconsciously shook her left wrist to make sure hers was there as well.

“As I remember clearly,” His voice was low and careful, “the agreement lasted two months, and seeing as the two months ended yesterday, the agreement is now terminated.” He took one step closer to Dara and slowly lifted his head.

His chocolate eyes gleamed in mischief as he stared her down, perusing her face. Dara rolled her eyes which only made Jiyong’s lips curve into a hateful smirk. It’s been two months but the same revolting feeling she got whenever she saw him hadn’t changed a bit.

She wanted to lash out but Jiyong continued, “And sweetie,” he bent over so his face was just inches from hers, “You may have gotten rid of me temporarily, but I’m not going anywhere.”
