Description
Twelve seemingly normal teenagers are chosen by the universe to take on a task they never asked for.
One night, all twelve disappear from the face of the Earth and wake up to find themselves somewhere they never could have imagined existed. A world with two moons, a world sustained by an all-powerful spirit, a world in danger of destruction.
This is the story of how twelve boys from Earth gain powers they only dreamed they could have; how they develop new ties and bonds, ones they would die fighting for.
To be able to save the dying world they are brought to, they must all come together and fight as one.
Foreword
To those who have read the Original (Unedited Version) of New World:
First of all, thank you so much for supporting me during the time period I wrote and uploaded the first version of this story. I must admit that without the constand support you guys showed me, I would never have finished even HALF of the story.
I must admit that there are a lot of errors in the original version and that the ending was never finished correctly. I already gave my reason for that. It was because during that time I couldn't really write really well. It was the usual writer's block I got and I just didn't want to get eaten up by the block resulting in me NEVER ending the story. I settled for a really quick summary of the ending that I already had in mind instead, and I am very sorry. I know some of you were dismayed (though you didn't say it) by the ending and I am very sorry for that. And I thank you all for still showing your love for that really abrupt ending. Thank you so much.
To make up for it, I have printed out the original version in 129 pages of bond paper and manually edited the story. I have changed quite a few things and if ever you guys decide to read this story and revisit the New World the EXO boys were transported into, I guarantee you a better reading experience than the first.
To those who have not read the Original Version of New World:
Welcome to my world! This work of fiction is based HEAVILY upon EXO's MV "MAMA" and other facts that I learned during their Mama Era. I did a bit of researching and have come up with a story that I managed to tie together with some facts and a few creative ideas I had of my own.
If you're asking if you need to read the original version; no, you don't have to. This is the same story but enhanced and edited. I am hopeful that this version will catch the eyes of new readers and please the past ones.
I hope you enjoy your journey if you ever do decide to read the story.
Notes:
- You will notice that when you read, the chapter titles are written in the bottom of the chapter. This is to avoid spoiling you of what will happen in the story. I am a very lousy title-maker so I usually just give away the gist of the chapter. So I decided I'd put it at the bottom of each chapter.
- Italicized words you find in the story are usually thoughts or conversations taking place telepathically.
- The Cover Photos above are my trial covers for the hard copy version of the new and improved New World. What do you guys think? I'm not much of an editor... but I tried my best. LOL
