The year 2013 is very different from how we used to know it .In the early 2000’s an epidemic hit the earth .If one was infected with the disease they would  die, however during the process of dying the disease changes the blood of the infected and turns their heart black. Causing the infected one to be reborn as a Vampire. There was no cure to the disease or a way to halt its spread across the globe. Humans are still roaming the earth but are becoming extinct due to being captured or getting bitten by vampires. Vampires have taken over the Earth.

About Vampire Race :

Vampires have normal eye colors except when feeding or when hungry that’s when their eyes become bloodshot. Some vampires are immune to the sun some are not. Vampires absolutely need human blood to survive animal blood is poison for them. Some vampires can control themselves around humans. Cities are filled with vampires who are not immune to sun an rural areas have vampires who are completely immune to the sun. All vampires have a rose tattoo on their right hands. Every vampire was once a human but either caught the disease or was bitten by another Vampire

 About Human Race :

Humans are low in numbers and usually live in the “wild”. Some humans farmed as livestock or auctioned of as livestock. They are mostly used as maids or for blood. Rich vampires keep humans as pets, some humans are immune to the disease but most aren't. Most humans are active during the night because it is harder to spot humans in the dark. Families are separated or often killed because of vampires.
