Foreword
SeamusMommy has given us a playfully romantic story centered around a young woman, Ilana who suffers from an illness that can be serious and potentially fatal. Ilana, yearning to escape an overbearing cousin embarks on a cruise where she meets new friends and gains new experiences.
I like the way the author bridges cultures from different parts of the world, exposing the characters to lesson’s about the different traditions each person is raised from. Seamus Mommy
draws from her own upbringing and experiences exploring the Korean culture and brings them into this story, in the process enlightening me, the reader, to a part of our diverse multicultural community that was previously a mystery to me. Thanks to this story and in conversations with the author, I have gained a greater appreciation for the local Korean merchants and neighbors in my city whom I have come to see as friends.
Enjoy this amazing story, there will be smiles, laughter and sad moments ahead.
