Because it's you

ChangMin woke up noticing himself laying on a hospital bed. He winced loudly as the migraines hit the spot. Suddenly the pain became more unbearable. Falling to the floor, he tossed and turned, and groaned loudly. 

He didn’t know what to do...he was getting very far with this memories. Everything was not making any senses to him. Soon, he blacked out without knowing when he heard a angelic voice called by his name. 

A pair of hands lightly pressed on his arms. He had awaken once again.

“Ara...” ChangMin whispered his fiancee’s name.The sound of his voice cracked. A warm hand held onto his. She closely to ChangMin’s face and caressed his pale face. Crystal tears ran down his eyes. 

She bend down and pecked his forehead. 

“Thank goodness. You’re alright...” She said in relief. ChangMin pulled Ara down and pulled her beside him. 

“It may seem that he has not regained his memories. The results came out negative. Ara-shi...I don’t think there’s anything to be worried about. There’s a slight chance that he’ll be able to regain his memories, I can assume you that.” Ara sighed then saw a shadow walked by the door of the office. 

“What’s the matter...?” Ara did not answer the doctor and cleared her throat.

“Is it possible that he’ll remember the past and not the present?” 

“That. I cannot tell you. Maybe not now...I wouldn’t know for myself.” He explained. 

She remembered seeing the shadow walking by, while she was talking with ChangMin’s doctor. Pacing herself back to the room, she hoped he was still in the room...She widely opened the door with force and walked in. 

The bed was empty with the blanket on the floor. Maybe it was him?! She panic and grabbed the blanket with her hands and firmly gripped onto it, snarled breathlessly. 

Her head turned to the door when she heard footsteps behind her. Her face was blanked. 

“You look like you’ve just seen a ghost. Are you okay?” ChangMin only smiled but with weakness.

Ara dragged him back to the bed and sat him down. 

“I thought that you disapp------” 

ChangMin smirked and looked into her face, “Disappeared? Why would I do such a thing? I already have you. Pabo.” He giggled as he placed his hand on hers and brought it to his face and kissed it lightly. 

“Do you remember anything...by any chance?” She asked while pouring hot water into a cup. 

“Hhhmmm...let’s see. Oh! I got one! Tae NahRi...I think...” Losing control of holding the cup of hot water, Ara instantly let go of the cup and panic for that second. 

“Oh, really...? I see.” She said not looking his way. Her face turned bright red just by hearing him say that name that she did like. When she felt his eyes turned away from her, Ara smiled as she walked up to him and placed his plate of food on the standing tray. 

ChangMin only paid attention to his TV shows and laughed like the usual ChangMin she knew. There is something different about him...but she couldn’t think what it is. Surely, it has been bothering her at every minute.

ChangMin had been going to work right after his recovery. Everything was back to how it was, as if nothing had happened. 

On his way to work, he was told that someone was waiting up in his office. Before entering his own office, he groomed himself and cleared his throat. Placing his hands on the knob, Assistant Baek was behind him as he held on his boss’s arm preventing him to enter. 

“Boss, I don’t you should go in. I’ll handle it myself.” ChangMin stopped and turned over to his assistant. 

“Please I wish to be alone with this person.” ChangMin said. Assistant Baek bowed and respected his boss’s wish, and walked away without saying a word. 

When he entered into the room, a fist was being thrown at him. Before he can explode his heart became moisten.

“Surprised to see me?”  Asked SeungHyun, who stood there with his eyes firing at ChangMin. 

ChangMin rolled his eyes, and took a glance at SeungHyun who had given him a punch across his face, as he wiped the blood off on his lips. 

“Lets put this to an end, and forget about her. She’s better off without you, and you know it well. This shouldn’t be a tough decision to answer.”

“What differences will it make, she’ll never love you SeungHyun. Wake up. In the end, she’ll always choose me. And you know it. Through hell or high water I’ll eventually get her back.” SeungHyun is talking about Ara right...? He asked himself. 

SeungHyun sighed, “Most likely to hurt her and make yourself look pathetic?” 

“For her I’ll do anything to make her come back to me. Regardless, how many years it’ll take and even if its after life and death...she was mine to began with. In the end, I’ll always win.” ChangMin said. 

SeungHyun slightly laughed, “If you say so...I’ll leave everything to you.” ChangMin was quite surprised. 

“Are you leaving...? Why so soon?” He asked. 

“This is the end for me...there’s no reason for me to continue my life here. It was worth a shot but it wasn’t anymore I guess.” Causing the both of them to chuckled. They clearly understood each other. 

Before SeungHyun was about to leave, he turned to ChangMin and smiled.

“Its never too late to fight back what you had lost. Do it while you can. Don’t make her wait too long. NahRi is in need of you. Only you can complete her. I wish you the greatest, my friend.” Those were his last words to ChangMin. 

ChangMin was a bit confused why he would say those things to him. He shook his head and went to his desk to sit down. There was a hidden box underneath his desk. These things might come in handy one day.- Was written on the pink sticky note that was placed on top of the brown cardboard box.

When returning back home, ChangMin and Ara had dinner and got ready for bed. ChangMin was in the room on his laptop. Hugging ChangMin from behind Ara rest her head on his warm protective back and smelled him. 

She always have loved the scent of her fiancee’s. 

“Honey, what are you doing? Its pretty late. Let’s sleep.” There was no answer from him. 

“I’ll sleep in a bit. One of our employee was fired from stealing something he shouldn’t. So right now, I am looking through people’s profiles where they are seeking for a job. Thanks to the head manager, I have two weeks to find the person whom fits best in our company.” He was frustrated. 

Ara pulled his laptop away and closed it and gently placed it on the table nearby the bed. Slipping on top her fiancee’s lap, she carelessly took her rob off and turned off the damp lamp beside them.

 “Umma. Why are you dressed so pretty today?” HyeRi asked as she watched her mother applied make up on her face. 

“Umma has an interview job to go to, remember?” NahRi said while checking her teeth in the mirror. 

“Agioo! You have looked in the mirror for the fourth time UMMA.” 

NahRi smiled back at her daughter who was siting on the bed flopping her legs back and forth on the pillows. 

“Umma needs to look her best when it comes to job interviews HyeRi. I’ll be back in 2 hours. Be good and no more fighting with the other children, you hear me?” Before heading to Seoul. NahRi had dropped her daughter off at a date-care. 

She was dressed in a plainly, simple attire outfit for the job interview. Standing in front of the Shilla Enterprise Corporation building. 

She giggled cutely as she entered the building, as she makes her way to the elevators everyone who seemed to be interviewing had already gotten into the elevator; leaving her in being able to fit into it. 

NahRi gasped as she saw that she only had five more minutes to get into that conference room. She decided to take the stairs. Despite of number of stairs of floors, she paced herself until she had reached the final floor. 

Waited and waited outside of the conference room, she was the very last person to get interviewed. 

“Miss. Miss. You’re up.” NahRi had fallen asleep while waiting for her turn. She got up, and groomed herself before heading into the conference room. After the twenty minute interview she was dismissed to leave, and will be excepting a call from the CEO within a week or earlier on the day.

Anxiously waiting outside of the Shilla building, NahRi had sat outside desperately waiting for a taxi to drive by, but no luck she couldn’t get a taxi. An hour passed, her phone began to ring. 

“Excuse me, but are you joking with me? You mean I got the job?” She asked, as if she was hearing the wrong words from the person on the other line. Surely, she had gotten the job.

She squealed in happiness when she had reached home with her daughter. The very next morning she was excepted to be back in the conference room by nine sharp. She did as told. 

NahRi began to sign papers and discuss the job with the head department manager. 

“I’ll be looking forward to work with you Ms. NahRi-shi...Welcome to Shilla.” 

Before the head department manager was on his way out the door, NahRi stood up and bowed and thanked him once again. While gathering her paperworks and etc into a think black one inch binder, NahRi was just getting ready to leave the room just as someone had walked in by chance. 

She stop and stared...the smile on her face had completely erased. The person that had walked in smiled at her, and walked up to her reaching his hand without any hesitation.

I only have about only a month left of school, and will be returning to school after this summer. *SIGHS* For the tenth time...sorry...sorry! Hopefully, this chapter will make it up! teehee. ^.^ i really missed you guys!! :”(
