The Wedding
Our DestinyMr. Kim was standing in front of mirror, fixing his suit. The door was knocked and Mr. Kim looked at the door through the mirror. “Come in.”
The door opened and revealed Sunggyu in his black and white suit. He bowed to his father respectfully. “Father, I need to talk to you about something.” Mr. Kim turned around and faced his eldest son. “What is it?” His hoarse and serious voice made Sunggyu hesitated to talk about it, but he got to do this. He looked up to his father bravely.
“It’s about Saemi…”

Today was finally the day, the day where Saemi would be Taemin’s wife. She was sitting at the bride’s dressing room. She stared at herself on the mirror, she was wearing a beautiful strapless wedding gown. The upper part hugged her body, showcasing her beautiful curves. Beautiful white diamonds and sparkling buttons were attached to the body part of the dress, while the skirt was long and white like the snow. She was wearing a simple necklace matching with her earrings. A veil that reached her neck was attached on her hair. She was holding a beautiful bouquet of white roses.
A gentle hand was place on her bare shoulder and she seemed to snap out of anything she was thinking about. She looked up and through the mirror, she could see Suzi gave a little smiled to her.
“Are you okay?” She asked Saemi slowly. Saemi looked down on the flowers that she was gripping on her hand. “Honestly… I don’t know…” She whispered the words. This was the first time she ever said those words, usually she would always said she was fine even though she was not. Suzi was a little bit surprised by her answer, but now, she could really know how her best friend was feeling.
“I have no other choice… I got to go on with this wedding…” Saemi said barely a whisper.
“What about-“
“I got no choice.” Saemi cut off Suzi words sternly this time. She knew that Suzi was going to ask her about L.Joe, but what could she do about it? Her father had decided everything and she was in no place to object, her father would not hear any of her words. And it was her fault as well, for not trusting L.Joe.
Knocks were heard at the door, Saemi and Suzi looked at each other, not expecting any people to come at the bride’s dressing room. Mrs. Kim was busy outside, welcoming the people who come to the party. Suzi walked to the door and opened it.
“Who is it?” Saemi asked, not turning around and just looked through the mirror.
“It’s me.” The familiar voice that Saemi didn’t want to hear the most was heard. She swallowed hard and waited for that certain woman to appear. Suzi opened the door wider and Saemi finally got to see her. The woman didn’t wear a dress, she was wearing casual, with jeans and t-shirt.
“Can I speak to you personally, Saemi?” She asked carefully. Suzi looked at Saemi, worried for her emotions. Saemi was quiet for quite some time. Finally she nodded to Suzi, telling her to leave them alone. Suzi left and the door was closed, now they were alone.
“What is it Minrin
