2007 – YEAR of the 3 of the MOST SUCCESSFUL K-POP GIRL GROUP are FORMED Wonder Girls, Kara & Girls Generation.

2008 – K-POP hits GLOBAL MUSIC CHARTS because of the PHENOMENAL HIT of WONDER GIRLS single “NOBODY”

Popular boy group debuted in this year such as Shinee, 2AM, 2PM & U-Kiss, for female here is Davichi and the nation’s little sister IU.

2009 - The YEAR of the BEST K-POP GIRL GROUP LAUNCHING such as After School, 2ne1, 4Minute, T-ara, f(x), Secret & Rainbow are just few of them. For boy group B2ST and MBLAQ are the top lists.

This is also the YEAR where K-POP started to HITS INTERNATIONAL MUSIC just like the global hits of Girls Generation “GEE” and Super Junior “Sorry Sorry”.

Rookie Girl Group 2ne1 with their debut songs “FIRE” dominated charts following with another hit song “I DON’T CARE” are just one of the hits also that YEAR.

2010 – K-POP groups dominates the industry again, this is the year were popular group such as ZE:A, Sistar, Infinite, Miss A, Girl’s Day , Nine Muses and solo singer G.Na debuted.

Miss A as Rookie Group holds a strong debut performance too just like how 2ne1 from the previous year break the record, for winning the music shows without waiting too long since only 2 weeks after their debut they landed at Number 1 spot with their debut song “BAD GIRL GOOD GIRL”.

2011 – Numerous K-Pop Idol groups and solo singers debuted in numbers, and a strong K-POP INFLUENCE in the WORLD doubled in number after the Most Successful K-Drama Series DREAM HIGH.

Yes, it’s DREAM HIGH…actually I am one of those fan of the show that became a K-POP fanatic after watching this series…(unfortunately I just watched this series last August 2012 a month after Dream high ended airing on our country) and I’ve got hook with the drama as well as the characters ending searching about the lead stars, and brought me into the K-POP world. After a month, I brought the DREAM HIGH 2 DVD series as well, months after then I already brought DVD’s of K-POP idols featuring their songs MV’s and concert shows…goodness this is what DREAM HIGH made me.

But honestly, I am not a K-POP fan but I am really a K-Drama fanatic since I was High School year 2004 to be exact. I only know Wonder Girls before after the hit Nobody, then 2NE1 because of Sandara Park (yes I’m from Philippines and Dara was a former actress on our country). I only heard Super Junior and Girls Generation but actually I don’t know them. Then DREAM HIGH came in, I read previews and recaps about the series on line that it was really a good series, but still I doubted I would love the series so much.

First reason is that, the casts are newbies, I don’t know them, I don’t even heard their name on the previous dramas I had (actually I had 96 Korean Drama DVD collection now) except for Taecyeon who I saw already in Cinderella’s Sister drama. Then I heard this Miss A Suzy name on-line for a couple of times, she had a lot of articles on social media. So out of curiosity I searched Miss A Suzy, then found out that she’s one of the casts in Dream High (my thought told me Dream High again?), then I heard some article about T-ara, and then 2PM, and it only ends telling myself “ahh… so they were the casts of the series Dream High, but what is really special about this show?”

April 2012, Dream High aired on our local TV here in the Philippines, dub, as the Most Successful Korean Drama of 2011 according to trailer and the trailer was really AMAZING made up. It made me think again “so finally the most talk about drama on-line has arrive on Philippine’s TV” but I never watched it since I have work and it was aired late at night around 10:30 to 11:00 P.M. So I decided to buy the drama out of curiosity after it was aired on our local national TV since it was talk of the town.

And that’s it…the series was really FANTASTIC. For it was PERFECT, a TOTAL PACKAGE DEAL in a one show. Knowing that they were newbies and even criticize about their acting skills (except for Kim Soo Hyun who made a FANTASTIC JOB in the drama) I don’t care, because for me they were all AMAZING.

The ending telling me I WANT MORE, that’s why I made the fictional story DREAM HIGH 3 (YEAR 2025) but still I am satisfied how it end that way.
