When it was raining cats and dogs, he ran from the shelter that they were under all the way to the end of the street to buy her an umbrella

“Finally!” Jiyeon cheered and closed her books.

She’s sitting at a table in her school’s library, trying to finish up her assignment and she finally did it.

“Thank you, Mr. and Ms. Books~ you guys help me a lot today~” She sang and placed the books back to their respective shelves. “I will be back if I need you again, hmm~”

She finished packing up her stuff and began to leave the library.

It was cloudy, and she thought she might be able to reach home before it rain.

So she picked up her steps, walked out off the library building and followed the normal route back home.

But to her dismay, it started to rain all of a sudden.

A real heavy rain. She quickly rushed towards a shelter in front of a shop, which was closed for that day.

“How unlucky!” She sighed to herself and brushed off the droplets of water on her shirt. “I should’ve brought out the umbrella when omma told me to!”

And suddenly, another figure ran towards her shelter to avoid the rain.

He too, brushed off the droplets of water off his shirt and hair, which made Jiyeon to look at him cautiously.

The guy tilted his head up and met eyes with her.

They stared at each other for a minute or so before he coughed on purpose, and looked away, feeling shy.

“It’s… Raining heavily huh?” The guy started a topic and stood closer to her.
