Description

Our story begins at an underwater kingdom. You are a spirited little mermaid who lives with your father (the sea King), your grandmother (the said wisest mermaid), and your five sisters. You are also the youngest amongst your sisters but not any less adventurous and curious. Seeing all your sisters venture to the surface, you can only yearn to be able to go there yourself. Once you get the chance to, you encounter a guy that literally flips your whole world upside down. What happens when you fall in love with him? What will you be willing to do to spend the rest of your life with him? Will you be able to get your desired happily ever after or will you be too late...

As you can see from the title, we were inspired by EXO's song, Baby, Don't Cry, to write the story of The Little Mermaid with our own lil twist. This story will have ideas from both the orignial and the disney version of The Little Mermaid, and our own fantasies/imaginations :D still not convinced to read this? check out our story review below :)

Characters:

You (Ariel): the little mermaid who has always longed to see the surface of the ocean

              

                                                                   Kyungsoo: the lonely prince who has always longed for that special someone

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Flounder: the best friend that stands by you no matter what

Annabelle: the princess who coincidentally finds the prince lying near the shore

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Ursula: the manipulative and deceptive magical creature who expects a return for every action

I like the adaptation although it isn't entirely an adaptation, I love it. I read this a long time ago. And stopped at some point, never getting to finish. I hope to finish reading this very soon! I especially like the way you included their songs into your story.

You don't even imagine how much I love this story . I read it in one go and seriously , I regret nothing .
to be honest , I almost cried when Ariel "died" . Damn . I thought she was gone for good and I was so , but so sad .
and also , this fic has Kyungsoo as the male lead and . Just . he's my ultimate , ULTIMATE bias . I just love this .
