He hated him. He hated those smirks that seemed to never leave his face. 
He hated that voice that would always pierce into the silence, berating him. Belittling him.
He wanted nothing more than to kill him; to see his face painted with crimson.
He wanted it to be dripping down his face, as he suffered all the pain that he had over the years.
He wanted it on his hands. He wanted to know that he caused his death.
It haunted him every night- those soulless, damned eyes that stared straight through him.
She, however, saw that same evil that he hated- reflected in his own eyes.

This is a story that I had started many years ago, but never got around to actually writing. It is now being revisited and reinvented with new characters.
