''The Couple Next Door'', a sequel to  ''Ahjumma Next Door'' , is a romannce-action- comedy- drama featuring Kwon Jiyong as a young Seoul PD- Crime Investigation Department officer and Park Sandara as a conservative and naive lady, ironically a fashion designer and co owner of a family couture and clothing business DB & Co. as main characters.

In the prequel, we all witnessed Dara's struggles in her life from a girl that was kept from the public since childhood to the lady she has finally become as she was introduced to the world, finally stepping out of her cocoon. She found love for the first time and this sequel is all about it- her first love, first kiss, first everything from a man that turned her whole world upside down making her believe that it's possible for her to feel loved and adored despite her insecurities.
