You gasped, “My family!”

“She spoke!” Minwoo clapped.

“Quick! Hide!” You ordered.

“What?” They asked, baffled.

“Hide or I’m dead!” You squeaked. They started moving then.

Jeongmin rolled under the bed.

Minwoo tried to go into the closet but Donghyun pushed him out. Minwoo snapped his fingers and looked around. In a panic, he dove under the blankets.

Hyunseong slid under the bed next to Jeongmin.

Kwangmin hid behind a skinny lamp. “They’ll notice you!” You said. Kwangmin hid under your desk instead.

“Open up!” Your stepfamily demanded.

“O-okay! Hold on!” You called out.

Youngmin had no place to go. You went to your window and opened it. You pointed out, “Jump.”

Youngmin peeked down and whistled, “Even though I’m not completely human, I can still die if I jump this high.”

“HURRY UP OR I’M GETTING THE KEYS!” Your impatient stepaunt threatened.

*Crap!* You grabbed Youngmin’s hand. He jumped up and down with a peace sign, “She held my hand first!”

*Where to hide him?!* You wondered.

You heard the jingle of the keys and the doorknob started to turn.

You panicked and pushed Youngmin against the wall. “Whoa. Hey, I’ve only been yours for 30 minutes.” He said with wide, innocent eyes.

“Shh! Stay still!” You opened the door. It completely covered Youngmin. He wouldn’t get caught unless they shut the door.

Your stepaunt and stepcousins entered. They suspiciously looked around, “Who is here?”

“No one. Just me.” You innocently blinked.

“Hmm. Then who was talking?” Your stepaunt asked.

You glanced down to see Jeongmin curiously peeking up at your stepfamily. He popped his bubble gum casually.

A bead of sweat ran down your forehead.

“Answer me.” She sternly demanded.

“Um, me! I was talking to myself!” You blurted.

Jamie looked at you in disbelief, “You’ve finally gone crazy, haven’t you?”

Youngmin pushed the door a little and glared at her. *Who is she to talk to my girlfriend like that?!*

*That idiot!* Kwangmin saw a coin on the ground and threw it at his head.

Youngmin ducked back behind the door.

The coin landed at your feet.

You quickly picked it up, “Yeah. I’m crazy.”

“Ohmygosh. She actually admitted it.” Jamie giggled.

“You know we sleep in late on the weekends. Stay silent as a mouse, araso?!” Your stepaunt glared at you. You nodded, “Yes, auntie.” She stormed off.

“You heard mom. Shut your trap or no breakfast.” Jamie haughtily pointed her nose up and strode towards the door. Hyunseong grabbed your textbook and slid it towards her.

“WAH!” Jamie tripped over it. “WHAT THE HELL! WHAT IS YOUR BOOK DOING THERE?!”

Hyunseong and Jeongmin snickered and bumped fists. You bit your lip *Those guys.* “Mianhae.” You quickly grabbed it.

Jamie gave you a burning glare and left.

Yunie headed towards the door and stopped. She looked back at you. “Who was that guy that took you home?”

“Guy?” You blinked. *Oh yeah. Kwill ahjusshi.*

Yunie smirked, “Were you that desperate? Since I took L. Joe’s heart, you needed to get someone’s heart so you choose a guy twice your age?”

Your bottom lip trembled. “That’s not it.” Your voice came out shaking.

Yunie shook her head, “It was your fault for having too much confidence in yourself. I just wanted you to learn your lesson. You know how much I care about you.” She gave you a wry smile, winked, and sauntered off. The door shut close.

Your head lowered to the ground and your arms became limp with the heavy load of the textbook. Tears dropped onto the hard cover.

The boys started to come out of their hiding spots. “Are you all right?” Donghyun put a gentle hand on your shoulder.

It was dead quiet.

Then Youngmin grabbed your textbook and fiercely whirled to the door, “IMMA KILL THAT BITCH-“

Hyunseong grabbed the back of his collar.

Kwangmin wiped your tears away, “Don’t cry.”

You sniffled and pushed his hand away, “I just need to sit.” You sat on the bed.

“OWWW!” Minwoo yelled. You gasped and shot up. He rolled out from under the covers and landed on the floor.

“M-mianhae.” You cupped your hands over your mouth, “G-gwenchana?” You sighed, “I never do anything right.”

“Why don’t you sit here?” Donghyun led you to the chair.

You sat down and sighed. You heard 6 other sighs and looked up.

The boys were gazing at you with their puppy eyes.

You took a deep breath, “Okay, first thing is first. Who are you guys?”
