A month had passed.

Slowly, you started to fill in the empty spaces that your 6 boyfriends had occupied. You made new friends at your new school. They actually complimented how you looked when you wore glasses.

You never saw your stepaunt and stepcousins again.

Business went well and you had enough money to live in a small but cute house.

Thanks to your boyfriends, you were stronger and happier. You had self-confidence and courage. You knew someone out there was capable of loving you.

One evening, Kwill visited.

You smiled, “Ahjusshi, long time no see.” He smiled, “Sorry that I don’t come too often.”

“I know. You always disappear and appear like-“ *My boyfriends.* You shook your head and smiled, “Dukkbokki is on me tonight.” You cooked a tasty dish and brought it over. You sat across from him and shared a conversation. It felt nice to have a friend who had been around when your boyfriends had been, too.

“I don’t see those guys around anymore.” Kwill casually said.

“Oh. Them? They…quit.” You said.

“Mmm…do you miss them?” He asked.

You nodded, “I do but it’s out of my hands.” You gave him a good-natured, sad smile.

“Were you in love with them?” Kwill asked. You slowly nodded.

“Which one the most?” He questioned. You saw Kwangmin in your mind but couldn’t bring yourself to say his name. “All of them.”

Kwill searched your eyes, “I see…well I’m sad to say that this will be the last time I come here.” Your face fell, “You’re leaving, too?”

Kwill softly gazed at you and nodded, “Business calls for me. I have to move far, far away.”

You sadly nodded in understanding, “I see. Well take care of yourself, ahjusshi.”

“You, too. I want to give you a present before I go. Do you need or want anything?” He asked.

You shook your head, “I have everything I need. Just, if you have the opportunity, come back again.”

Kwill nodded, “Goodbye, ~~~~~~.”

“Goodbye, ahjusshi.” You waved and watched him leave. You heavily sighed *There goes another person out of my life.*

Kwill glanced back into the shop and watched you clean the table. *I won’t be able to see you ever again. But I’ll give you another present instead.* He left.
