Everyone has their own stories: happy stories, depressing stories; livid and dull; fluff and angst. Most of them would be inspired by a fantasy—like Cinderella or Snow White. So what’s mine then? I looked at the people at the park, the couples hand in hand; smiling and laughing, like they don’t have a care in the world. I knew that most of them will have their tragic times and suicidal moments, but their ending always turns out to be happy. If it were to be like that, what would be my ending then? What is love? What kind of story would it turn out to be?

Baek Mija is a Korean-American, sent back into South Korea by her aunt who took care of her after her mother’s death that occurred in a tragic accident, long ago in the past. She moves into her father’s house, living with her new stepmother and her older stepsister and stepbrother.

Her stepmother is quite wicked and shallow, and cares about nothing but power and control and always demands her father to get her what she needed, constantly draining his money out which caused him to have the need to work harder and come home later than usual. Her stepsister, Baek (formerly Park) Minae, is the same—ordering her around, telling her to get her what she needs, and mocking her. They both disliked Mija and will do anything to ruin her life.

Only her stepbrother, Baek (Park) Kangdae cared for her. He would spoil any plans that his biological sister may have on Mija.

Because of the moving, she had to start a new academic life, especially when she had graduated from her former school as a senior. She was a loving child back in the United States at her former, but here in Korea, they shunned her.

Why?

Because of the way she looks and acts—she looks like a complete nerd, with big dorky glasses and she’s a wallflower—showing that she’s shy and reserved, stuck close to the wall, sits alone by herself at lunchtime and was neither lively in social events, just unable to speak out her own thoughts nor show anybody her real talents. And they didn’t care to see it anyway. They were too busy caring for appearances and blending in with the harsh society.

It was just when she just came into Seoul Arts and as soon as she entered, they ignored her.

It hurts her feelings but nothing can done about it, so she thinks.

When she is alone, she is not like that—she is more happy, cheerful, and random. She is herself. These are two different egos. It remained like this for a week, two weeks and soon, it became a month. One month turned into three months and she has still treated the same way—all of the high school cliché in university is like déjà vu to her.

Then, something—or rather somebodies—came to her and changed her life forever.

A group of five handsome, shining “princes” came over and sat at her table, all smiles on their faces. Soon enough, with little time and increasing development, they began to know each other. How will the story start and end? Will they be friends or perhaps even more?

Five shining princes, one princess, true love.

Which one of them will she choose for her ending of her story?

Which one of them caught her heart? 

Obviously, this is my first story I've writted. Hope you guys will enjoy it and please don't be afraid to cricitize and comment on my flaws. Those helps so that I can improve on them.

I will be renovating this story with a different format and style so hopefully it would look a bit better than the old ones!
