Where exactly is home?
Description
Lee Jinki believed change was constant in everyone’s life, and really, no one knew this like he did. With his odd family situation he never stayed in one place for long but now things were about to change. With his parents divorce and after seventeen years, he now had a permanent house to live in. Well for the last two years of high school at least but in an empty house, living alone, he couldn’t call this home. And now on his first day at school he was crushing on this gorgeous looking boy, who in turn was too busy being kind and friendly one moment and ignoring him in the next. Jinki was adamant that this was nothing but a crush, but had he already fallen? Past experience had made him run away but would this one make him want to stay? The fact that the whole school knew he was gay didn’t help either and when things were getting out of hand, he didn’t know where to go. He wanted to have a home to run back to but he didn’t know exactly where that was.
Foreword
All eyes were on me but I was just so used to this. I made full eye contact with the class, scanning the crowd as I made my introduction.
"Lee Jinki, Third year, transferring from XX school. Nice to meet you all and.." I trailed off, noticing for the first time the boy in the last row. His gaze focused on something outside the window. It didn’t take me long to then realize he was, in fact, just spacing out. He was gorgeous but all I had was a side profile. Then came the urge to want to get him to look my way, I wanted to see his face.
"an-and I'm gay" I blurted out.
