Description
*Points to title* Yep. I hate Kris Wu. That stupid, cocky, arrogant bastar- Oh, who’s this Kris Wu person you ask? How rude of me to not tell you about him, I’m sorry; let me introduce you to my best friend mortal enemy.
It’s a long story really, but let me make it short and sweet for you. (I believe you hear stuff like this all the time by the way) He’s been my best friend ever since I was four, we lived next to each other since we were kids and well…we somehow ended up as best friends. Kris ended up moving away to his hometown in Canada and moved back to Korea when I turned seventeen. (This is starting to sound familiar, yeah?) Well guess what; the Gods of puberty or whatever you call it spent a little extra time on him because he came back looking absolutely gorgeous! (I know what you’re thinking; ‘Oh they’re gonna fall in love, get married and have forty-six kids!’ Hahahahaha NO. Not in this case!)
Despite the fact that he returned looking like a damn god, nothing changed and he’s still a jerk!
I still hate you, Kris Wu.
Foreword
I woke up to the sound of my alarm today. My body jumped as my alarm went off, was it already seven o’clock in the morning? I reached over to my phone and checked. Dammit. It’s time to get up.
I groaned and dragged my legs to the bathroom. “It’s Monday. Monday! Double period math with Mr.Lee. Double period science with Mrs.Lim. God, what did I do to deserve this?” I mumbled to myself as I brushed my teeth.
“Oh Claire get over it! You do this every Monday!” My mother called from the kitchen. “Now get dressed and come downstairs for breakfast before you’re late for school again!”
I rolled my eyes and got ready before walking down the steps with my bag. I sat down for breakfast and sulked over the fact that it was Monday. “The weekend’s so far away.” I complained.
My mother ignored me and gave me a plate of eggs and bacon. “Now honey, just go to school and come back okay? I have a surprise for you that’ll make your Monday 100 times better!”
“What could the surprise be? A VIP ticket to Exo K’s concert?” I imagined.
She rolled her eyes. “Just eat.”
I nodded along as she ranted about the news. I was almost happy when I finished my eggs. I grabbed my bag and ran out to meet my friend Eunmi who was waiting for me outside.
“Whoa, excited much? Claire it’s Monday, you’re never excited for Monday.” Eunmi said.
I shook my head. “I’m not excited at all! I just needed to get out of there. Do you want to listen to your mom talk about politics and the raise of kimchi prices for twenty minutes?” I sighed and grabbed her arm. “Let’s go.”

“Today wasn’t that bad! Mrs. Lee was absent!” Eunmi smiled on the way home.
“I know right! We basically threw a party in there with the sub!” I laughed.
We reached my house and stared at the car parked in the garage of my neighbor’s house. Eunmi pointed to the ‘SOLD’ sign on top of the ‘FOR SALE’ sign of the house next to mine. “Look, that house is finally sold.”
I stared at the car parked in the garage. “That car looks familiar.” I mumbled.
“Maybe it’s part of your surprise!” Eunmi grins. “Text me!”
I nod as I dig my keys out of my pocket. When I walk in, I notice the extra pairs of shoes by the door. Mom has guests over… I wonder who it could be.
I let my thoughts wonder until I noticed the pair of Nikes. Oh my God, there’s a guy here! What if he’s cute? I smiled. Maybe my Monday won’t be that bad afterall. I fixed my hair and put on some lip gloss. When I was ready, I strutted in like some model. “Afternoon, mom.” I smiled and looked at the guest. Did I know them? I felt like I did.
My eyes landed on the guy sitting on the couch. W-Whoa. He’s a hottie. I blushed and stared for a moment. He’s gorgeous!
“Hi Claire! Oh you’ve grown so much!” The lady gets up and hugs me. I hug her back awkwardly.
“Um…Who are you?” I question.
My mom chuckles. “Oh you and your bad memory! The Wu’s are moving back to Korea! They brought the house next to us! It’ll be like the old times!” She smiles.
The Wu’s? Holy . Then that means that ‘hottie’ is…is…Is…KRIS?
My mom smiles and points to the hot blonde guy chilling on my couch. “That’s Kris, your best friend?”
My mouth drops open as he stands up. He towers over me as he walks over to give me a bone crushing hug. “Claire! Miss me?”
I push him away. “N-No!” I stutter. That’s Kris? Holy shi- Puberty does magic sometimes!
His parents and mine get up. “Well, kids we’re going out for dinner to catch up. Adults only, so you guys can stay home. Why don’t you catch up with Claire, Kris?”
He nods devilishly at me and gives me that face. “No problem.” He smirks.
The adults seem to file out of the house in minutes. I ignore Kris and walk into my room. I drop off my bag and grab my sweats. I’m going to take a shower; maybe I’ll fall asleep in there too. When I wake up, Kris won’t be there. It’ll all just be a dream!
When I come out, I notice he isn’t in my living room. OH MY GOD. IT WORKED. THAT BASTARD IS GONE.
I smile and walk into my room just to see Kris sitting on the floor eating gummy worms.

“What the hell?”
He looks up and laughs. “Hey who’s Kai?”
I look at the book he’s holding. My diary.
“OH MY GOD.”
“WHAT.” Kris tries to act as surprised as me.
“I HATE YOU, KRIS WU.”
