Jeongmin and Hyunseong have known each other their whole lives. 

Well, that's an exaggeration. In fact; they had only met in middle school. But the two connected quickly. Instantly. They were always close with each other; almost like brothers. One was never seen without the other.

They were so close that the bond continued on into adulthood. The two shared an apartment in the city; trying to make ends meet by working together at a local coffee shop while they pursued their dreams.

Jeongmin? He wanted to be a star. He wanted his name in lights, his face on every magazine. He had a pretty face and the voice to back it up. He wanted to be heard, not just listened to. He wanted to be seen, not just given a passing stare. And, most of all, he wanted to feel the lights shining brightly on him; exciting him to the very core. He wanted to close his eyes; testing to make sure he wasn't only dreaming of being on stage. Then he wanted to open them; seeing the thousands of fans; hearing them screaming his name. He wanted to scream right back; asking them to be even louder. Louder. Louder to boost his ego. Nothing, he claimed, could make him happier than being a singer.

Hyunseong? He was almost the opposite. Yes, like everyone, he wanted to do something great and meaningful. But he wasn't so keen on seeing and hearing himself everywhere he went. No; he wanted to be an author. The stories he could write... And they always say it's the quiet type that make the best ones. Hyunseong wasn't nesseccarily 'quiet'-- he was rather loud when he spoke. But not many people knew about his life. He liked to keep it private. If he didn't have to say; he wouldn't. But nothing would please him more than seeing his name; written simply on the cover of a book. Knowing people were likely to hang on to every word he wrote and turn page after page in anticipation, well... He wanted nothing more than that.

Except maybe Jeongmin.
