Two MoonsThe next impulse which went through Siyeon's body was to punch that guy again, but her body didn't move a single bit, so as if someone had paralyzed her. A smug smirk was on that guy's face and a strange thought went through Siyeon's head. It was like she actually had met that guy somewhere before. His grip around her wrist was not tight but Siyeon couldn't free herself. “Who are you?” she whispered and his grin widened. “You are completely different from what he told me.”
He? Who was he? Who did he meant? And who the heck was he? “My name is Mao, nice to meet you. Don't worry, I am not your enemy and I won't harm you.” Mao let go of Siyeon's arm but she still couldn't move. “What did you do to me?” Behind her, the railroad gate opened up and the people moved but Mao and Siyeon still stayed at the same place. “I?” he asked with sweet grin, “I did nothing. I just blocked your movement.” Horror rushed through Siyeon's body while Mao chuckled into her ear. “Don't move. Let me check something,” he whispered while he laid his one hand on her chest and the other one on her forehead.
It felt like a drill would bore into her head but the painful feeling suddenly disappeared, turned into something softer and slumberous. “Hmm, this is strange,” Mao muttered with a frown on his head. “What is strange?” Siyeon whispered but he barely paid any attention to her. “He was right, something's off, very off.” Without a warning, Mao suddenly slammed his hand against Siyeon's chest and every bot of air that was in her lungs went out. Heavy pain shot through her body and Siyeon fell on her .
Surprised she didn't even realized that she could finally move again. “Sorry for that, so now, let's start over. I'm Mao. Yixing – I mean Mr. Zhang - called me because he thinks you might need my help.” He helped Siyeon standing up but before he could continue, someone interrupted them. “Siyeon!” As soon as Siyeon heard Iori's voice, she turned around. “Iori,” she whispered and seconds later, her friend flung herself against Siyeon. “Oh god, I was so worried. What happened? Why did you cry? Who made you cry?”
Iori's hug was tight. Too tight and Siyeon had to push her friend a tiny bit away. “No one. I just... had a weak moment.” It was a terrible excuse and it was very obvious that Iori didn't believe her. “Siyeon, we will talk later. Here, my number. Call me later when you have finished your talk. I'm going to pick you up.” Mao gave her a small note, nodded at Iori, before he turned around and walked away. “Who was that?” Of course Iori sounded very suspicious and she stared after Mao with narrowed eyes.
“He's a friend of a friend. We coincidentally met.” This lie was way more convincing but Iori still looked like she wouldn't quite believe her. “If you say so,” she muttered a while, before she hugged Siyeon again. “You look awfully thin. Siyeon, do you eat properly?” Since Siyeon couldn't say anything to the, Iori let out an unnerved sigh, and while taking Siyeon's hand, she started to walk towards a random late night restaurant. “You need something to eat, like asap.”
They only sold ramen at a time like that but for Iori that was completely fine. While they waited for their order, Iori sat down in front of Siyeon. Crossing her arms in front of her chest, she seemingly waited for Siyeon to finally say something
