Two MoonsMr Zhang told Ara and Kai to take care of the class while he and Siyeon walked towards an empty classroom. The door opened before Mr. Zhang even touched it and as they walked into the room, the door closed again behind them. “So, you are the one the students talked about.” It wasn't quite surprising that he already had heard about Siyeon's strange case, and she simply nodded. “I guess so.”
A small frown appeared on his face, before he smiled. “You really can control yourself, can you? Other people would freak out right this instant. Tell me your secret.” A huge grin appeared on his face and Siyeon looked at him with wide eyes. Bloody hell, he was completely different from what he looked like! “I just don't want to freak out in front of everyone else... I guess,” Siyeon stuttered but she didn't averted her eyes. “But you can freak out here. I think it is no problem.” Mr. Zhang's smirk softened again and somehow his words pushed a button inside Siyeon's mind.
Uncontrollably, her hands started to shake like crazy and her body started to go numb. “What is all this here? Master? Warrior? Magic? Is it even real? God, please tell me that this is... just a bad dream and I wake up very soon.” Siyeon took a deep breath and Mr. Zhang opened his mouth, but she immediately continued with her words. “How come no one ever, like ever noticed something like this? Why am I here? I don't even know anything nor do I have something to do with magic!!!”
Much to Yixing's surprise – that was Mr. Zhang's first name – Siyeon's voice hasn't gotten louder until now, instead of that, her trembling has gotten worse and worse. This wasn't quite the freaking out he had expected, but it was better than nothing. It would have been pretty strange for someone like her, a human, to not freak out or even panic. “I can't answer every of your questions because I don't know anything either. I don't know why you attend this school and who actually send you a letter that you can attend this school, but I can tell you a bit of our society, before I send you back into the lion's lair.”
A chuckle came over his lips so as if he had made a good joke but Siyeon didn't laugh. “Sorry. Anyways, what do you know already?” It took Siyeon a moment to remember Ara's words, but then she managed to answer, still stuttering. “I know that you call yourselves Mageíya, right?” She sounded unsure, much to Yixing's amusement. “That's right. We call ourselves Mageíya. We are not exactly humans, if you can call us humans anyways. We are a civilization, which are younger than humans. Our history starts with the ancient Greek people as well. Our people... were Misfits. They were different from humans. Their wounds healed faster, they didn't become as ill as humans did, and they could do things humans couldn't do. Soon enough they realized that they were different from humans, very different, and that's how our society started to grow. We grew very fast, since there were so many of us, but there was a big, big problem.
Soon enough, our ancestors realized that, despite they finally had managed to set themselves apart from the humans, among themselves still were differences. Some of had strange energy waves, which someti
