“Let’s date,” Baekhyun said, looking into my eyes as if anytime I will disappear. “I mean it, Eun Joo. Let’s start dating.” I just swallowed and felt so happy and embarrassed at the same time. Am I supposed to be happy hearing that from him? I’m going to die anytime now and he still wants to date? He reached for my hand and interlaced our fingers together. “Let’s live normal while we still have time.”

I didn’t like what he said but it’s true in so many levels. I sighed in defeat. “Wait, I’ll go change.” He smiled tenderly at me saying thanks. I walked inside my room and saw that can of black paint again. It’s odourless that’s why even though it’s always here, it doesn’t leave an awful smell. “What’s with this paint again?” I lightly kicked the can of paint.

After changing, I noticed someone standing by the door wearing something casual. He’s wearing a neat plain white v-neck shirt and a pair of denim pants. A checkered black and blue polo shirt is tied around his waist and his hair is styled so gorgeously. Baekhyun turned at me and smiled so beautifully, slightly rubbing the back of his neck.

He chuckled. “Do I look handsome?”

“Too handsome it hurts.” I frowned at him. How could he dress himself like a model while I’ll look like his personal assistant if we walk beside each other? Smiling, his hand grazed my arm until he reaches my hand and pulled me towards him. It feels so warm and gentle every time he holds my hand I will never get tired of it.

Baekhyun intertwined our fingers together as I look at it. His fingers are too beautiful and to be honest, I always want our fingers interlaced like this. It feels like his fingers is my missing puzzle piece. “We’ll walk like this. And I your thoughts today is making me really happy. You should do that often.” He grinned.

Stupid.

Then he chuckled. 

“You’re going to leave without us?” Sehun asked. Just standing there, he looks like he’s already getting tired of standing too long. Suho stood beside the maknae and placed an arm above his left shoulder, squeezing it lightly. “What? Did I say something wrong?”

Suho smiled warmly at me. “Let’s not just disturb them.”

“Better come out with us too, Joo~” Chanyeol yelled from the other corner of the apartment unit and I can’t help but I laugh. Baekhyun already pulled me with him and closed the door behind me.

“Where are we going Baekhyun?”

“I don’t know.” He casually shrugged, pulling me closer so we’re walking at the same pace. “What do usually couples do when they’re going on a date?” he raised an eyebrow at me. How should I know? I never dated before. “Me too,” he’s smiling down at me and to be honest, there is something wrong with his smile I just can’t seem to put a finger on it. “This is going to be our first date then.” I don’t know why I just felt butterflies on my tummy.
